According to John Durham’s report on the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax, a staffer for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and a Democrat senator INTIMIDATED a university researcher who they hoped could somehow help them establish some much needed links between President Donald Trump and Russia.
The Democrats had nothing, so they sent literal GOONS out to bully Americans into helping out with their Russian collusion hoax.
The researcher recalled traveling to Capitol Hill with a colleague in November 2018 to discuss a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) cybersecurity program with Senate Armed Services Committee staffers.
Following that discussion, the pair agreed to talk with staffers for both Schiff and Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI), then the ranking member of the armed services panel.
Once the group was in a secure room, the staffers presented a news article about “Trump, Russia, and Alfa Bank,” a story fabricated by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign to fuel speculation about a bogus back-channel link between Trump and Russia’s Alfa Bank.
Staffers then told the researchers that they wanted their “help” in “looking into the matter,” but when the researcher responded by saying it would be “inappropriate,” the congressional staffers got aggressive.
“We are now in charge,” one of the staffers said, adding that their boss (Congressman Adam Schiff) “would soon take over” – a comment designed to scare the researchers into complying with their request.
The researcher said he “dragged” his colleague out of the meeting and warned him not to get involved. “Don’t touch this with a ten foot pole, stay away from this,” the researcher recalled saying.
But it just so happened that the second researcher had already been part of an effort to mine internet data to conduct opposition research attempting to link Trump to Russia, Durham’s report noted.
The Democrat staffers had to know this which is why they approached these individuals in particular to do their dirty work.
It’s worth noting that at the time of this meeting, Schiff was just a ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee but he would later become chairman – just as the staffer predicted in his veiled threat.
Schiff would use that position to repeatedly INSIST that there was evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia – which even the leftists now admit was a major lie.
After the Democrats, the FBI, and especially Schiff were all exposed as scheming frauds by the Durham report, Schiff went on to claim that the Durham investigation was “flawed from the start” – doubling down on the completely fabricated Russia narrative.
And this could be the final straw for serial liar Adam Schiff!
Following these revelations, House Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fl) introduced a resolution to have Schiff EXPELLED from Congress – and it’s about time!
