Biden Regime Used Funds Earmarked for Fighting Terrorists to Fund Anti-Conservative Propaganda, Create FAKE Support for Massive Censorship

The Biden Regime has found YET ANOTHER way to target his political opposition, deploying tax money to pay for a MASSIVE anti-Conservative propaganda campaign.

Joe’s Department of Homeland Security stole money from a grant program intended to COMBAT TERRORISTS, and used it to pay a radical left-wing activist group to create something which they ADMITTED was a propaganda effort to attack conservatives.

Through an initiative called the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) Program, the Regime paid $700,000 to the activists in exchange for writing heavily critical articles about Donald Trump and other conservatives.

The leftist group on the receiving end of these weaponized tax dollars was the University of Rhode Island’s Media Education Lab, partnered with Media Literacy Now (MLN), who together made the argument that “propaganda and misinformation concerning topics including immigration [and] racial justice” had become “disruptive.”

Their application asked Biden’s DHS for the money to create “community-created counter-propaganda,” and though Joe’s radicalized federal government didn’t need to much convincing, they continued making their case just to keep up appearances should anybody ever discover their little arrangement.

“Propaganda can also be used for socially beneficial purposes. Indeed, because the public has long been recognized as being suggestible, the United States has long made use of beneficial propaganda during WWI, WWII, and the Cold War,” the application further said.

Joe’s Marxist-inspired government was MORE than happy to back such an effort and it eventually led to serious attempts to brainwash Americans into believing that conservatives like Trump and his supporters are “evil.”

The University used the DHS cash to pay people $250 each to write blog posts about “misinformation, disinformation, media literacy… and more!”

Ignoring laws which prevent federal grants from being used to fund lobbying, the articles often pushed for left-wing policies. The posts sometimes had less to do with “media literacy” than political opining, railing against the National Rifle Association and Stand Your Ground laws.

“We are all living in a darker, scarier, angrier, less hopeful country thanks to Mr. Trump’s influence. Are we on the verge of civil war?” one post said, complaining that Trump “was able to crawl into the safety of First Amendment protections.”

“It won’t be easy, but we really have to reduce Trump’s influence,” it pledged.

These particular activists, meanwhile, have an extensive history of working with – or FOR – the U.S. government to create propaganda targeting American citizens.

The State Department paid these same people to arrange for German anti-“disinformation” activists to train U.S. schoolteachers on how they can be for anti-free speech like their German counterparts and convince them to advocate heavily for censorship.

“With just two grants — first from the State Department, and now from the DHS — the Biden administration has been able to artificially create a perpetual ‘public demand for media literacy in public education,’ supercharging a censorship industry devoted to an inherently anti-American philosophy hidden beneath the asinine moniker of ‘media literacy,’” the Media Research Center (MRC) wrote following an investigation into the matter.

Eventually, left-wing activists pointed to this government sponsored propaganda as “support” for their calls for more intense crackdowns on “misinformation.”

Of course all of this was only even made possible thanks to none other than Barack Obama himself, who birthed the grant, knowing that the Democrats could eventually use it to their advantage under the guise of “fighting terrorists!” – except in their eyes WE are the “terrorists.”
