Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom Declares State of Emergency, Grants Himself COVID-Era Powers in Order to FIGHT Trump Agenda

San Francisco, CA - April 26, 2022: California Governor Gavin Newsom speak at the Kindergarten to College program Progress update Press Conference in San Francisco

Longing for the days of absolute power that the COVID pandemic afforded them, Democrat politicians have desperately been searching for another crisis to give them an excuse to act as tyrants yet again.

And roughly one month before President-Elect Donald Trump returns to the White House, the power-crazed Democrats seem to have found it.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D-obviously) has declared a state of emergency in response to a smattering of cases of H5N1, aka, bird flu. There have been about 61 mostly mild cases nationwide since April of this year, but Newsom says that’s enough to make him declare a state-wide emergency.

What Newsom didn’t say when he declared the emergency is that in doing so he granted himself an enormous amount of new powers… just in time for President Trump’s return to office.

Worth noting is the fact that California hasn’t even had a sever case itself yet. The first and only severe case in the U.S. thus far has been in Louisiana, where one patient was hospitalized with the illness.

“The patient is experiencing severe respiratory illness related to H5N1 infection and is currently hospitalized in critical condition,” said Emma Herrock, a spokeswoman for the Louisiana Department of Health.

While an investigation into the source of this infection in Louisiana is ongoing, it is believed that the patient that was reported by Louisiana had exposure to sick or dead birds on their property,” said Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with the World Health Organization (WHO) have been quietly laying the foundation for politicians to use the Bird Flu as another power grab.

Back in June, the WHO began warning that there was a new strain of the Bird Flu which has the “potential for high public health impact” and the CDC followed suit.

While the illness is still considered to have an overall extremely low risk to the public, Newsom jumped at the first opportunity he saw to become more powerful once again.

The California governor’s declaration grants him the ability to impose restrictions and allocate resources as he sees fit – without having to deal with any pesky legislative oversight.

This proclamation is a targeted action to ensure government agencies have the resources and flexibility they need to respond quickly to this outbreak,” Newsom said in a statement making it seem as though he did this because he “cares about residents of the state” when in reality we all know the only thing that Newsom cares about is POWER!

He went on to say that he and his government will “take all the necessary steps to prevent the spread of the virus” which should trigger some PTSD in anybody who was forced to live under his rule during the COVID pandemic.  Governor Newsom’s idea of “preventing the spread” meant keeping regular Americans locked inside their homes for nearly a year and forcing them to wear masks if they even opened their front door, all while he galivanted around the state, eating at fancy restaurants, maskless and kept his businesses open while forcing others to close.

To date, no person-to-person spread of Bird Flu has been detected in California and nearly all infected individuals had exposure to infected cattle, but Newsom doesn’t care much about that fact.

The timing of this power-grab by Newsom couldn’t possibly be more opportune for the California governor who recently vowed to “Trump-proof” his state and use whatever power he has to wage war against an incoming Trump administration. He even had his state Congress set aside $15 million dollars, despite his state having the highest deficit in the nation, to prepare to challenge Donald Trump at every turn.

It’s certainly no coincidence that Newsom suddenly found a way to make himself more powerful just ahead of that looming war with the Trump administration.
