ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
In what seems to be the trendy thing to do in recent years, a former Democrat from one of the most blue places in the country has decided that he’s FED UP with the party’s lunacy – and he’s dumping them as a result!
Former Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva recently announced that he has OFFICIALLY resigned from the democratic party after MORE THAN 40 YEARS, and has now registered as a Republican.
“As of today, I’m leaving the party of paid protests, purple hair, and pronouns, and joining the party of faith, family, and freedom,” Villanueva said in a video posted to X.

Villanueva was elected as a Democrat to serve as the LA County sheriff from 2018 to 2022. But despite his party status, he would often clash with party leaders and local officials – ESPECIALLY during COVID-19 when pretty much every Democrat leader wanted to lock Americans up in their homes and take away their rights.
Notably, in 2020 he stood up to the tyrannical Democrats and refused to close the public beaches despite some asinine orders. Then again, a year later he pushed back against their efforts to force people to wear masks indoors.
“Forcing the vaccinated and those who already contracted COVID-19 to wear masks indoors is not backed by science and contradicts the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines,” he wrote in July 2021, explaining his decision to reject the rule.
In response to announcing his departure from the dilapidated Democratic party, Villanueva was celebrated by users on social media who pointed out that the party has completely “left sanity behind.”
California State Sen. Marie Alvarado-Gil (R) wrote, “Who will be next? I left the Democratic part because they have lost touch with everyday American. So many promises broken… be done and register Republican.”
This is the story for so many Democrats in recent years. The party has completely lost its mind and embraced the most fringe elements of leftism, and as a result, loyal voters and politicians alike have been defecting.
And something tells me this isn’t changing anytime soon.
Far-left Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who caucuses with the Democratic party, recently said that Democrats lack “vision for the future” and, for once, he has a point.
This modern day Democratic party is so obsessed with attacking President Donald Trump in an effort to convince Americans that he is the root of all of their problems… that they have completely abandoned even pretending like they’re actually trying to solve those problems.
For Dems, this should be a HUGE concern because when people wake up and realize what’s going on, they’re not just quitting politics – no, they’re devoting the rest of their political career to exposing what a bunch of dirty scam artists the Democrats are!
This sort of thing has birthed some of the biggest names in the MAGA movement today. Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are both former Democrats that split with the party after realizing it had gone completely off the rails.
What’s it going to take for the Democratic party to realize just how insane and out of touch they are? How many more people have to leave their party?
