Emergency Landing in New York After Passenger Jet Pilot Drops Dead in Midflight

Back view portrait of professional pilot working in the passenger aircraft

An Airbus A350-900 flight between Seattle and Turkey was carrying about 400 passengers when it had to be diverted to JFK Airport in New York. The pilot fell over dead in the cockpit and the co-pilot had to divert the plane to safely land it.

We continue seeing incidents like this in the wake of the airlines mass-vaccinating all their employees with the COVID shots starting in 2021. We went from fewer than ten midflight pilot deaths in the years prior to the mRNA shots to dozens of incidents starting in 2021.

59-year-old Ilcehin Pehlivan was piloting Turkish Airlines Flight TK204 when he announced to his co-pilot that he was losing consciousness. He turned over controls to the co-pilot and fell down in the cockpit. The flight crew administered CPR to him but was unable to revive him. He was declared dead by an emergency response crew that rushed onto the plane in New York.

The jet was flying north over Canada on its way to Istanbul. Flight tracking data shows the plane made a sharp turn south to divert to JFK after Pehlivan died. A spokesman for Turkish Airlines said that Pehlivan had been flying for the company since 2007. He added that Pehlivan was extremely fit and had no history of any previous health issues.

Pilots over the age of 40 are required to undergo full body exams and fitness tests twice a year. They go through this regular medical testing because they are responsible for so many lives when they’re flying. We don’t know the exact number of passengers the plane was carrying, but it was described as “packed.” An Airbus A350-900 can carry up to 410 passengers.

At his most recent physical exam, Pehlivan was given a clean bill of health and doctors found absolutely nothing wrong with him. The cause of death has not been released yet.

The FAA has done nothing to alleviate concerns over COVID-vaccinated pilots dropping dead during midflight, despite this becoming a commonplace thing since 2021. In November 2022, we reported on a passenger flight that took off from O’Hare International Airport and nearly smashed into a crowded suburb. The plane had barely made it off the ground when the pilot “died suddenly” at the controls. The quick actions of the co-pilot were the only thing that saved the plane and passengers.

Nineteen airline pilots were incapacitated or died in midflight between January and August of 2023. They all had cardiac incidents. Nine pilots died at the controls between March and August of 2023. During a ten-day period in August 2023, there were five separate incidents where commercial airline pilots went into cardiac arrest.

In March of 2021, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) imposed a new rule that required commercial airline pilots to be grounded for the first 48 to 72 hours after receiving a COVID vaccine. The shots had only been available to the public for three months at that point and regulatory agencies already knew that it was unsafe for vaccinated pilots to be flying. The FAA had to realize this here in the US as well.

Up until 2020, the leading cause of midflight pilot incapacitation was gastroenteritis, otherwise known as stomach flu. Starting in 2021, the leading cause of pilot incapacitation midflight became cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac death (SCD). If it’s not the COVID vaccines that are causing this, then what is? There is no other explanation that makes sense.

The Biden-Harris regime knows this is happening. There was a shortage of airline pilots because of their illegal vaccine mandate. The ones that kept working were all vaccinated and many of them suffered heart damage from the shots. Instead of keeping the public safe, the regime had the FAA loosen pilot health restrictions to keep them in the air. Pilots can now pass a physical and be cleared to fly passenger planes in the US if they have heart damage.

Researchers in Brazil conducted a study that directly linked all the pilot deaths to the COVID vaccines. The study was published HERE in July.

They concluded that sudden cardiac death “remains a significant and rising threat to pilots, posing a global crisis that requires immediate attention.”
