A bizarre foreigner who somehow got elected to the US House of Representatives has filed seven new articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. Congressperson Shri Thanedar was elected in Michigan in 2024.
The contents of the articles of impeachment are irrelevant. The House and Senate will never bring them up for a vote. This story is really an illustration of just how far the Democrat Party has fallen. When you realize just how corrupt this Thanedar person really is, you won’t know whether to laugh or cry.
First, here’s the big announcement of new articles of impeachment being filed against Trump. Trust us, it’s funnier with the sound on:

Democrat voters were thrilled by this announcement. Thanedar’s video drew more than 6 million views on X. We were mostly confused about which pronouns to use. Looks like someone accidentally mixed up ALL the different genders there!
Many people on the right were shocked to learn that an entity like this had actually been elected to Congress. As independent journalists started looking into Thanedar’s background, things got weird in a hurry.
Back in 1991, Thanedar took out a loan for $75,000 to buy a small chemical laboratory called Chemir. After that, Thanedar ran the same scam on the banks that was common among foreign “investors” in the 1990s. Thanedar used Chemir as collateral to take out a bunch of other loans, make new purchases of other startups, and use those as collateral for increasingly bigger loans.
Thanedar then spent millions of dollars to build a mansion in Missouri with a 150-seat movie theater for all of his/her/their relatives. Hey, Michigan! Congratulations on your newest Member of Congress from Missouri!
Anyway, Thanedar eventually parlayed his loan scam into owning a pharmaceutical company called Azopharma. The Ponzi scheme of loans eventually caught up with Thanedar in 2010 though, and Azopharma filed for bankruptcy. Here’s where the story takes a really weird and dark turn.
Azopharma operated an animal testing laboratory called AniClin Preclinical Services in New Jersey. When Thanedar filed for bankruptcy, all the employees at the testing lab were fired and Thanedar abandoned the facility. Thanedar left hundreds of puppies and monkeys in their cages to starve to death.
The employees who had tortured the animals on Thanedar’s behalf were upset about this. They started climbing over the fence and breaking into the building every day to take the puppies and monkeys food and water, until an animal rights group finally got a court order to rescue the animals.
“I have no knowledge how well the bank took care of the animals,” Thanedar told HuffPost when asked about the scandal. Michigan’s newest Member of Congress then made an oddly specific denial about practices at the lab:
“No animal was harmed or subjected to any harmful conditions. No electric experiments were conducted.”
Uh… no one had asked whether the animals were being tortured with electric experiments. But okay, Thanedar!
Now, what does Thanedar’s sordid past of torturing beagles have to do with the articles of impeachment against President Trump?
According to Thanedar’s latest FEC filings, he/she/they “borrowed” almost $800,000 from his/her/their 2024 campaign funds. He marked the funds as “INVESTMENT INCOME LOST” on the federal paperwork. Under FEC rules, Thanedar is personally liable for that money and has to pay it back.
So that is why a brand-new Member of Congress has suddenly filed articles of impeachment against President Trump. It’s a fundraising stunt because Thanedar is broke after a lifetime of “allegedly” running scams on American investors and banks. This person is perfect for Congress when you think about it!

It’s also incredibly sad that foreigners like this are even allowed to run for Congress in our country. One of the worst curses that can befall a nation in the Bible is to have foreigners ruling over you.
It would be hilarious if Trump deported this person back to India. Then again, it might be more beneficial to the America First movement to leave Thanedar in Congress. The Democrats are on such a roll lately, maybe they’ll make the wise decision to appoint Thanedar as their party’s co-spokesperson along with Jasmine Crockett!
