A lifelong Democrat and former top adviser to Bill and Hillary Clinton has called for a formal investigation into the horribly biased ABC News Presidential Debate – accusing the leftist network of “rigging the outcome of the debate.”
ABC has come under fire for their line of questions, lack of conversation about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life, and for fact-checking him, but not Kamala.
Moderators “fact-checked” President Trump more than five times, but never interrupted Kamala or reminded the audience “there is no evidence what you say is true” like they did to the former President.
Viewers are also suspicious because moderators David Muir and Lindsey Davis talked extensively about January 6th but never brought up once how Donald Trump was almost assassinated just two months ago. It was obvious that Muir and Davis’ line of questioning was designed to make Kamala look good and Trump look bad.
All of this has lead Donald Trump and basically anybody who watched it to deem that it was 3-on-1 debate with Harris and the moderators teaming up to take on Trump.
The former Democrat adviser, Mark Penn, said that debate was so blatantly rigged that ABC needs to launch a formal internal investigation into it to determine how this happened.
“I actually think they should do a full internal investigation, hire an outside law firm. I don’t know how much of this was planned in advance,” Penn said on a podcast.
“I don’t know what they told the Harris campaign. I think the day after, suspicion here is really quite high, and I think a review of all their internal texts and emails really should be done by an independent party to find out to what extent they were planning on, in effect, you know, fact-checking just one candidate and in effect, rigging the outcome of this debate. I think the situation demands nothing less than that,” he added.
But any internal investigations allowed by ABC would just be a charade because we KNOW that they rigged the debate but it would be incredibly damaging for the outlet to admit that so they would never actually let it come to light.
Kamala Harris has a close personal friendship with powerful Disney exec Dana Walden (Disney owns ABC News) who is responsible for overseeing ABC’s news division. She is essentially David Muir and Lindsey Davis’ boss.
Harris has said that her and Walden are “extraordinary friends” and Walden has reportedly donated to every single one of Kamala’s campaigns since 2003.
On top of that Linsey Davis is also connected to Kamala Harris. Davis is Harris’ sorority sister.
In a recent fluff piece on Davis, written by the LA Times, the ABC host effectively bragged about her role in rigging the debate by saying that she was determined not to let Trump beat Kamala the same way he beat President Joe Biden so badly that his own party forced him out of the race.
The network absolutely did not want to disclose any of this before the debate and they certainly don’t intend to after the debate.
But the issue for Kamala Harris and co. is that Penn is not the only Democrat to call out the fact that this debate was clearly rigged.
Doug Schoen, an advisor to Democrats President Clinton and N.Y.C. Mayor Mike Bloomberg noted that Harris “was aided and abetted by two ABC News moderators who seemingly felt the need to fact-check virtually everything the former president said.”
Even CNN’s Trump-hating host Jake Tapper ranted about the fact that the moderators intentionally allowed Kamala to avoid actually answering a single question.
When even some of the most liberal Democrats are condemning the debate for being too biased, that’s how you know the criminals over at ABC took things too far!
