Those of us who are old enough to remember can recall the days when the media always used to enthusiastically help pick the Republican nominee for president for us. They used to be really effective at doing this. The media, for example, duped just enough moderate GOP voters to foist people like John McCain and Mitt Romney on us, knowing full well that those goofs would never be able to win a national election. That was the point, of course. Old habits must die hard, because the media has now decided on our dream ticket for the 2024 presidential election: Chris Christie and Liz Cheney! Woohoo!
We are so fortunate to have the liberal run media to tell us who we really want to pick for the 2024 GOP ticket. Phew! Without the media’s wisdom, we might make the mistake of looking to the past and thinking that we could actually make America a better place for everyone. Who wants that?!
Record low unemployment, NATO paying for its own defense, peace deals galore, prosperity and rising wages across the board? Yuck! We’re building back better now, folks. And if we want to continue doing so, then we need to absolutely shepherd Chris Christie and Liz Cheney to be our next POTUS/VP dream team (according to the liberal media).
What this new push for a Christie/Cheney ticket is really about is fear of the candidate that all true Americans are pining to see return to the White House: Donald J. Trump. Senior columnist Matt Lewis at the “Daily Beast” codifies this fear in the title of a piece he wrote this week:
“Could Chris Christie and Liz Cheney Take Trump Down?”
Just look at the fear dripping from that headline! The Democrat/media complex is even less concerned about the fact that they have no viable candidate to run in 2024, compared to the possibility that Big Orange is going to run again.
Matt Lewis huffs and puffs on his keyboard, “People who view Trump as an existential threat to our democracy should explore every possible way of derailing his candidacy.” (You mean, like… cheating in an election?) Well, a Chris Christie/Liz Cheney tag-team to take down Trump is certainly an idea!
Lewis then really gives us the hard sell: “Running against Trump requires the quick wit and sharp elbows that [Chris] Christie seems to naturally possess.”
Are we talking about the same Chris Christie? Quick wit? Sharp elbows? Chris Christie seems to naturally possess a platter of chicken wings within arm’s reach at all times, but… quick wits and sharp elbows?
I do think it’s nice that Matt Lewis at the “Daily Beast” has just admitted that the 2020 election was definitely stolen. If running against Trump requires a quick wit and sharp elbows, then the only possible explanation for how Joe Biden “won” in 2020 is…? Look! There goes that quick-witted Joe Biden elbowing his way back into the basement!
We have some additional bad news to report to the mainstream media about their dream 2024 ticket, which is that it now looks like one-half of their ticket is ineligible to run for president as a Republican. The Wyoming GOP censured Liz Cheney back in February after she voted to impeach Donald Trump over the fake insurrection debacle. Ever since then, Liz Cheney has been enjoying the “strange new respect” that the media always gives to backstabbing RINOs who can’t seem to play for their own team.
Cheney has been absolutely basking in the adoration of MSNBC ever since and held up as the “true conservative of conservatism” that we never knew we all needed! The Wyoming GOP finally got so fed up with Liz Cheney’s antics that they voted over the weekend to no longer recognize her as a Republican. She’s been politically shoved out on an iceberg. (Congrats to the Democrats for flipping Wyoming’s lone congressional seat for the first time since 1978, by the way!)
So, it’s going to be tough for Liz Cheney to weasel her way into the Republican primaries in 2024, now that she’s no longer recognized as a Republican. Not to worry, the media will still have plenty of recommendations on who we should definitely vote for instead of Donald Trump in the next election. They’ll keep telling us. Prediction: We’ll soon start seeing articles about how it’s finally Lindsay Graham’s time to shine!

Mainstream media did Biden’s campaigning for him while he hid in his basement from the dreaded Covid, and sold him as a ‘peaceful moderate’ because the powerful behind the Democrats knew they could direct him.
