The former CNN golden boy – who got demoted faster than a quarterback throwing interceptions – just delivered the most honest assessment of Democratic Party values we’ve heard in years. And trust me, it’s not pretty.
Speaking at a panel for the far-left Center for American Progress (because where else would washed-up CNN hosts end up?), Acosta decided to share his brilliant theory about why Democrats keep losing elections.
Spoiler alert: It’s not their policies. It’s because you’re all too stupid to understand what’s good for you.
“The far right in this country has kind of figured out a way to infiltrate the heartland and, you know, basically pull mom and pop from the farm to their point of view,” Acosta explained, like a professor lecturing kindergarteners.
Translation: “How dare these peasants think for themselves!”
But wait, there’s more! Acosta wasn’t finished insulting half the country:
“And as it turns out, a lot of those folk vote in these elections and a lot of those folk have been completely led astray. I hate to say it, but they’ve just completely led astray.”

Notice how annoyed he sounds that farmers actually get to vote? The audacity of these working people participating in democracy! Don’t they know their betters in Manhattan and D.C. should be making all the decisions?!
Here’s what makes this absolutely perfect: Jim Acosta – a guy who got his primetime show canceled because nobody wanted to hear his opinions anymore – is lecturing successful farmers about being “led astray.”
Let me get this straight. The man whose career crashed harder than the Hindenburg is telling people who actually feed America that they’re the ones who don’t know what they’re doing?
The lack of self-awareness is stunning.
Here’s a newsflash for Jim and his liberal elite bubble: Farmers don’t vote Republican because they’ve been “brainwashed.” They vote Republican because they’re sick of:
- Crushing regulations that strangle their businesses
- Skyrocketing inflation that makes everything more expensive
- Open borders that flood their communities with dangerous criminals
- Energy policies that drive up their fuel costs
- Condescending lectures from failed TV hosts who think they’re idiots
It’s really that simple, Jim.
