Laken Riley Act Passes in Senate – Vivek Ramaswamy Hit Hardest

On the same day that President Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second term, the US Senate passed the Laken Riley Act—a bill named for one of the tragic victims of the Biden regime’s open border policies. The bill had already passed the House, so it will be one of the first pieces of legislation to hit President Trump’s desk for his signature.

The Laken Riley Act is mostly symbolic, which we’ll explain in a bit. But one of the provisions in it could be used to abolish the mass immigration plans of Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk—which the people who wrote the bill didn’t actually expect!

The bill that bears Laken Riley’s name is S. 3933. Laken Riley was the young college girl who was viciously murdered by one of Joe Biden’s illegal alien pets last year.

The bill will require the Department of Homeland Security to detain any illegal alien who commits burglary, theft, larceny, or shoplifting, so they can be deported.

I hate to rain on the GOP Senate’s parade, especially during such a triumphant week for MAGA Republicans. But that’s been the law in the United States since 1964.

If any immigrant—legal or illegal—commits a crime, they’re supposed to be detained and deported. I know! Crazy, right?

So, the main premise of the bill is mostly political theater. We didn’t need a new law to deport immigrant criminals. We just need to stop being a lunatic country when it comes to mass immigration and enforce the immigration laws that have been on the books for the past 60 years.

One of the provisions, however, looks to be very advantageous for the American people. We guarantee that the Republican Senators who wrote the bill didn’t intend for this to happen. According to the bill’s summary, it “authorizes states to sue the federal government for decisions or alleged failures related to immigration enforcement.”

What’s the one major area of immigration that both Republican and Democrat administrations have failed to enforce?

That would be the H-1B visa scam, which is so beloved by Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk. The H-1B visa program—as the law was written and passed—says that companies can only bring in foreign workers if they cannot find any American workers to fill those jobs. Instead of enforcing the law based on those grounds, the federal government allows companies to bring in foreign workers who will work for cheaper pay than Americans.

In many cases, companies have required Americans to train their H-1B visa replacements under threat of losing any severance package. Instead of bringing in highly skilled foreign workers, the program is used to fill jobs at 7-11 and Panda Express, eliminating opportunities for American workers.

Vivek Ramaswamy, you’ll remember, enraged the entire MAGA movement over the holidays by bashing American culture. He claimed that we “celebrate mediocrity” and that’s why the H-1B program is so necessary. If America wants to succeed, Ramaswamy insists that we have to bring in hordes of foreign workers who are so much more ambitious and driven than we are. Coincidentally, those foreigners should all be from Vivek Ramaswamy’s ancestral lands!

I don’t know about you, but I found it hilarious that the Indian anchor baby was the first person to get deported from his job in the Trump administration. After he oversold his abilities and wormed his way into the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) task force with Elon Musk, Ramaswamy “wore out his welcome.” The little scammer is now running for some office in Ohio, having been relieved of his unearned executive branch duties.

President Trump has promised to quickly sign the Laken Riley Act into law. That may have already happened by the time you read this.

Because the new law will allow states to sue the federal government for non-enforcement, Steve Bannon is actively lobbying more than two dozen state attorney generals. He’s encouraging them to sue the federal government for non-enforcement of the H-1B rules. The program was never intended to allow companies to bring in dirt-cheap foreigners to replace Americans, but that’s exactly what it has become.

Bannon wants to get the H-1B program completely abolished under the Trump administration. Replacing American workers with Vivek Ramaswamy’s relatives from the old country is just plain evil. We’ve had enough! Thanks to the Senate passing the Laken Riley Act, they may have inadvertently opened up an opportunity to get rid of the H-1B program entirely.
