Obama-Appointed Judge Frees Activist Threatening Trump

If you threaten to kill the President of the United States, you’d expect to spend some quality time behind bars, maybe with a few Secret Service agents becoming your new pen pals. But not if you’re a left-wing activist in today’s twisted justice system — and definitely not if your case lands in front of an Obama-appointed judge.

Meet Nathalie Rose Jones, a 50-year-old woman from New York City who recently posted online that she was ready to “disembowel” President Donald Trump. She didn’t stop there. She enthusiastically tagged the FBI, ICE, and Homeland Security in her deranged messages and even told Secret Service agents that she would follow through on her “mission” if given the chance — and her weapon of choice? A “bladed object.” Sounds like a walking Homeland Security bulletin, right?

Now, in a sane, law-and-order America, that kind of behavior lands you in a federal detention center faster than you can say “domestic terrorism.” But in 2025, under the watchful eye of our famously impartial legal system — and by that I mean Obama’s judicial leftovers — she’s been released with a slap on the wrist, an ankle monitor, and a prescription pad.

That’s right. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, appointed by Barack Obama back when Joe Biden was still remembering where he parked, decided that Jones should be freed under electronic monitoring and psychiatric treatment. This came just days after another judge, U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya, looked at the same pile of evidence and concluded, correctly, that Jones was too dangerous to be let out.

So what changed? The facts? Nope. The threats? Still there. The violent intent? As clear as ever. The only thing that changed was the judge. And that’s the quiet part they don’t say out loud — justice in America now depends less on what you did and more on who’s wearing the robe.

Let’s not pretend this is just about one disturbed woman. This case is a microcosm of how the left’s long game in the courts is paying off. Install activist judges for life, wait for them to bend the law like soft taffy, and watch them go soft on anyone who targets conservatives — even when it’s the President himself.

This isn’t Boasberg’s first rodeo either. Remember, this is the same judge who ran the FISA court when the FBI was rubber-stamping bogus warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign. You’d think after overseeing one of the most embarrassing abuses of government surveillance in modern history, he’d try to keep a low profile. But no — he’s back, and now he’s handing out get-out-of-jail-free cards to people who call for presidential assassination on Facebook.

And let’s not forget the political theater. Jones’ arrest was announced with great fanfare by newly minted D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, who rightly declared that threatening the President is “one of the most serious crimes.” But Pirro’s tough talk now looks like a stage performance when the system she’s operating in lets the offender waltz out the courthouse door with barely a curfew.

We’re supposed to believe this is just about “mental health,” but the timing, the politics, and the players make that hard to swallow. If Jones had posted about doing this to Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, the media would be running wall-to-wall coverage, MSNBC would be holding candlelight vigils, and the DOJ would be demanding life without parole.

Instead, it’s just another day in the left’s two-tiered justice system — where your ideology, not your actions, determines your fate.

Now, ask yourself: If this is how they treat someone who threatens the President, what happens when the target isn’t Trump… but you?
