Joe Biden’s Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle resigned on Tuesday morning. She lasted about 12 hours longer than any of us expected her to.
It was obvious after her Monday non-testimony before Congress that Republicans would impeach her and Democrats would likely help convict her in the Senate. If only she had been arrested.
It’s maddening that we still know so little about the assassination attempt on President Trump after more than a week.
We do have one new thing to report about the shooter today—no thanks to the intrepid federal investigators who are trying their hardest to keep the public in the dark.
The Heritage Foundation funds a watchdog organization called the Oversight Project. The group has released a report on the cell phone GPS that could directly link the 20-year-old would-be assassin Thomas Crooks to the FBI.
Oversight Project purchased the GPS data on every cell phone that has traveled between Crooks’ home in Pennsylvania and the nursing home where he works.
It stands to reason that any cell phone traveling between Crooks’ home and his workplace likely belonged to Thomas Crooks himself, right? They didn’t have access to Crooks’ real cell phone number, but the GPS data gives us a fairly good idea that this was his phone.
The Oversight Project then examined the location data for that phone for the past year. Crooks’ phone made multiple visits to Allegheny Arms, a gun store in Bethel Park, PA. No surprise there. He was buying ammo and practicing up for the intended assassination of Donald Trump.
His phone also made multiple trips to a Tang Soo Do Karate School in Bethel Park, for whatever that’s worth.
Of much more interest is a random trip that this supposed lone gunman took on June 26, 2023, almost one year to the day before he shot Donald Trump. One of the likely Thomas Crooks cell phones drove from Pennsylvania to Washington, DC, and parked at Gallery Place. That’s a shopping mall approximately two blocks from FBI Headquarters.
Is anyone else’s “Spidey Sense” tingling?
Most of the GPS data from this kid’s phones shows him traveling from home to work and back again, occasionally to the gun store, and running other errands in and around Bethel Park. But then out of the blue, he took a random trip to Washington, DC, in 2023 and ended up parking two blocks away from FBI Headquarters. It sure would be interesting to know if Crooks met with anyone and who that person is.
Between March 1st and 3rd of this year, Thomas Crooks’ cell phone took a flight from Pennsylvania to Boston, MA. For most of the trip, his phone spent time bouncing around in Plymouth, which is south of Boston. However, the fact that he flew in and out of Logan International Airport puts him in the vicinity of the Boston FBI Field Office.
There’s going to be a congressional task force set up soon to pretend to investigate the shooting. If you watched the hearing of US Secret Service (USSS) Director Kimberly Cheatle yesterday, you may have noticed that almost every Member of Congress has adopted the let’s-sweep-this-under-the-rug posture. Almost all of them have bought into the “mistakes were made” narrative and are unwilling to consider the possibility that one or more federal law enforcement agencies played an ACTIVE ROLE in the assassination attempt.
When the Oversight Project publicly released its report on Monday, it also issued this statement:
“For the protection of whistleblowers and our investigation, we will not be sharing further information with the congressional task force due to the connective tissue between that entity and FBI, USSS, and other entities.”
That’s absolutely right. We cannot trust Congress, the FBI, or the Secret Service to carry out a fair and impartial investigation. The government always finds itself innocent when it investigates itself. Everything that the FBI has done so far looks like a cover-up operation, rather than a serious criminal investigation.
One thing that’s very much to our advantage in this assassination attempt—compared to when the government murdered JFK—is that there are so many cell phones at play. Hundreds of people took videos the day of the shooting. Crooks’ cell phone GPS data is now publicly known. We may eventually get to an approximation of the truth but it’s not going to come from the government.
