Revealed: Nearly 1 in 5 Who Breached the Capitol on January 6 Were Feds

WASHINGTON DC, UNITED STATES - Nov 15, 2020: MILLION MAGA MARCH protestors marching with flags, signs, megaphone,

It’s been clear since January 6, 2021, that the FBI was directly involved in instigating the Capitol protest that led to the deaths of four Trump supporters. Getting straight answers from the FBI has been like pulling teeth. A whistleblower has finally come forward and told congressional investigators the true number of FBI agents who were embedded in the crowd that day and dressed as Trump supporters. When you total up the numbers, it appears that nearly as many as 1 in 5 people who “breached” the Capitol that day were in reality federal agents.

Here is something important to keep in mind as we unravel this story. During a congressional hearing in July 2023, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) directly asked former FBI Director Christopher Wray whether there were any undercover FBI agents in the crowd.

Wray stated under oath:

“As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on scene.”

A Justice Department Inspector General Report issued in December 2024 found there were in fact 26 FBI informants embedded in the crowd and dressed as Trump supporters that day. These individuals were paid as confidential human sources. They’re not the same as FBI agents on full salary and benefits. They were the weasels and backstabbers spying on groups like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers for the FBI.

That same report stated that there were zero undercover FBI agents in the crowd.

A whistleblower has just told Congress this week that there were 274 undercover, plainclothes FBI agents in the crowd. That’s in addition to the 26 paid informants. These were 274 salaried federal law enforcement employees at the FBI. Their salaries are paid by your tax dollars, and they were at the Capitol on January 6 dressed up and LARPing as Trump supporters.

That’s 300 total people on the FBI payroll. Does anyone feel suspicious about that? Anybody have any questions?

House Speaker Mike Johnson has established a new January 6 Select Subcommittee. It’s chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA). Loudermilk says he wants to know, “Were they paid to inform or instigate?”

With the FBI having 300 people on the payroll disguised as Trump supporters, it seems like they were obviously there to do more than “inform.”

But the FBI agents and informants were not the only feds in the crowd that day.

In May 2024, former J6 defendant William Pope’s legal team issued a court filing that identified another 50 undercover federal agents in the crowd. Those individuals were members of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and US Army counterintelligence. These were Pentagon employees that former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley had embedded in the crowd.

That puts the number of feds dressed as Trump supporters in the crowd at 350.

The best estimates put the size of the crowd that breached the Capitol on January 6 at fewer than 2,000 people. And by “breached,” we mean they calmly walked into the public building that their tax dollars pay for, looked around, and walked back out. Nearly 1 in 5 of those people were on the federal payroll, being paid by your tax dollars to be there.

There was also an undisclosed number of undercover Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers in the crowd. Some of these officers have admitted to Loudermilk’s committee that they incited the crowds to commit violence and vandalism. These undercover cops admitted they helped people climb over barriers. They encouraged Trump supporters to enter the Capitol. They cheered on the handful of people committing vandalism.

Those undercover cops were all wearing body cameras. House Speaker Mike Johnson released all the footage from inside the Capitol on January 6. That’s just what was captured on the House security cameras, though.

The Metropolitan Police Department has refused to release the bodycam footage recorded by its undercover cops. MPD won’t admit how many undercover cops were in the crowd inciting violence and vandalism, and they won’t release the footage.

Christopher Wray must be sweating bullets right now. The Trump Justice Department just indicted James Comey this week for lying under oath to Congress about the Russia collusion hoax. Here is just one of Wray’s appearances under oath, as Members of Congress have tried to get answers from him:
