Under the guise of “protecting the environment,” President Joe Biden and his Democrat pals sought to control every aspect of our being – from the types of shower heads we’re able to buy to the kinds of stoves we can cook our food on – and, thankfully, the current administration is taking those chains off of the American people!
President Doanld Trump has hit these draconian regulations head on in an effort to free the American people from the Biden-era climate tyranny.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, the Department of Energy took MASSIVE action earlier this week to slash dozens of regulations for household appliances from dishwashers to dryers that were issued under the previous president’s orders.
The regulations included restricted sales on certain types of gas stoves, faucets, shower heads, microwaves and even ceiling fans while forcing the American people to settle for more expensive and less effective options, “for the environment.”
“It should not be the government’s place to decide what kind of appliances you or your restaurants or your businesses can buy,” Trump’s Energy Secretary Chris Wright commented about the regulations. “Everybody wants clean air and wants to lower their energy costs and run their factories good as they can. The big hand of government doesn’t actually help that process at all.”
“We will look for every way we can to protect freedom of the American worker and pursue President Trump’s agenda, get rid of the nonsense, bring back common sense, make life more affordable, and opportunities greater,” Wright added.
This alone is a massive shift from what we saw over the past four years, where an administration devout of ANY common sense attempted to force us to play along with their little climate games, delivering a massive blow to the wallets of hard-working American families.
And at the same time as the Department of Energy seems to be reversing all of those god-awful regulations, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is acting right alongside it to undo some of their own tragic rules that have been put into place over the years.
Rockstar EPA head Lee Zeldin, who previously uncovered billions of taxpayer dollars that had been stolen by the Biden regime at the last minute in a massive climate grift, has begun addressed the incredibly annoying start-stop technology in cars which nobody likes.
“Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy,” Zeldin said. “EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it.”
The EPA has not mandated that cars have stop-start technology, but companies have been basically bribed to put it in their cars with extra fuel credits.
All of this represents a major change from the Democrat policies over-regulation that have been suffocating the American people.
As silly as it may sound, thanks to President Trump, we’re now going to be able to choose something as simple as the types of faucets in our homes instead of being forced to pay 4 times as much for an inferior option.
