Special Counsel Jack Smith is going to indict President Donald Trump at some point this year, to try to disrupt the 2024 election in favor of Ron DeSantis. We’ve known for a long time that it’s coming.
Many of us thought that a “surprise” indictment of Trump might come down within 72 hours of the Ron DeSantis campaign launch. That window may have closed, but now the Special Counsel’s office is making selective leaks about its own investigation of Trump to CNN and other leftwing media outlets.
The newest leak indicates that Trump had a conversation with several people in July of 2021 about a classified document. The meeting took place at the president’s golf club in Bedminster, NJ. Trump was talking with two people who were working on the autobiography of former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
Some of Trump’s aides, including Margo Martindale, were in the meeting as well. Someone in the group recorded that conversation and the Special Counsel’s office has now leaked it to CNN.
The people writing Meadows’ book wanted access to a document that was produced by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley. For those who don’t remember, Milley was the dope who disobeyed direct orders from President Trump to get all US troops out of Syria. Milley also surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban and left them $80 billion worth of weapons and sophisticated US military equipment.
Anyway, the document that Milley produced was a plan to have America invade Iran with a massive number of US troops. Milley pitched this insane, pointless invasion plan to President Trump on multiple occasions. The president obviously didn’t take it seriously, since he is the only president we’ve had in decades who didn’t start any new wars. Plus, Iran? What the–?
It sounds like Mark Meadows’ biographers wanted to view this document, which they planned to use just to show what a bunch of stupid idiots the Deep Staters and other clowns are that Meadows and Trump had to deal with all the time in the White House.
Trump told the biographers in this recorded conversation that his ability to declassify this particular document, now that he was out of the White House, was limited.
Meadows’ autobiography is in print now, and it contains this passage in which President Trump “recalls a four-page report typed up by (Trump’s former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) Mark Milley himself. It contained the general’s own plan to attack Iran, deploying massive numbers of troops, something he urged President Trump to do more than once during his presidency.”
Special Counsel Jack Smith has now interviewed Milley about this recording which was leaked to CNN. While this whole situation sounds very dumb, we have to keep in mind that all the rules of our society are different when talking about President Trump. These people are so afraid of him that they will stretch the laws in ways that are unimaginable just to try to take him out.
When normal people like you or I hear this story that President Trump had a conversation about a classified document with some people who didn’t have security clearances (which one of them conveniently recorded), it sounds incredibly boring. Who cares? He didn’t show them the document, and they were the ones asking about it.
What we have to remember, though, is that these people investigating Trump right now are the same types of people who staged the Russia hoax, the fake Ukraine impeachment and the fake January 6 “insurrection” impeachment.
The Ukraine impeachment was about a recording of a phone conversation. It was ridiculous, but they did it anyway, because it’s Trump we’re talking about. Regular checks and balances and fairness don’t apply. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) even wrote in the Ukraine impeachment articles that they could read Trump’s mind, which was how they really knew he was implying a quid pro quo with Ukrainian dictator Zelensky.
It sounds silly to think that Trump could be arrested and jailed for having a conversation about a classified document. But how is that any different than the impeachment over Ukraine? They know they’re lying, and they know it’s stupid. They don’t care. The point is that they’re going to arrest President Trump this year, and the fact that they’re now leaking this stuff to CNN tells us that day is getting much closer.
