An insane lunatic attacked Robb Elementary School in the town of Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday. As of this writing, he murdered 19 children and two teachers. The attacker also wounded the tactical Border Patrol Agent who shot him dead. The students killed were 7-, 8- and 9-year-olds. At about 8:30 p.m. EST, right as Joe Biden was about to address the nation about this horrific tragedy, parents of the children in that school were waiting in the town community center. None of those parents yet knew at that point if their children were still alive or dead. They were waiting. You’d think Joe Biden would be able to deliver a compassionate speech in a moment like this. But you’d be wrong.
The victims had not all been identified yet when Joe Biden spoke. Some of the parents in the Uvalde community center were about to get the worst phone call of their lives. And Joe Biden then proceeded to deliver the most loathsome, partisan speech of his entire life as he danced on the graves of dead 7-year-olds. It was disgusting.
The speech was so terrible that it’s worth fisking portions of it. Remarks pulled from Joe Biden’s speech are in quotes below, with my response following each quote:
“I had hoped I’d never have to do this again.”
Yeah. Weird how this happens so much whenever a Democrat is in the White House and trying to push gun control. Nothing suspicious about that.
“Deer aren’t running through the forests with Kevlar vests on.”
What’s your point, you stupid, stupid old man? Type I and Type II body armor, which are made with Kevlar, cannot stop a rifle round from America’s favorite glorified squirrel rifle, the AR-15.
“Most Americans support common sense gun laws.”
No. Not the way that you meant it, senile Joe. Most Americans support stop-and-frisk laws, which take firearms out of the hands of gang members in urban areas. By the way, Joe, those gang members with handguns account for about 99% of the mass shootings in America every year.
“These kinds of mass shootings rarely happen anywhere else in the world.”
Just ask Anders Breivik in 100% gun-controlled Sweden, or the mosque shooter in 100% gun controlled New Zealand, or the Bataclan nightclub shooters in 100% gun-controlled Paris. There were more than 960 mass shootings in America in 2021, and nearly all of them involved black-on-black shootings. How many of those made the news? Oh, right. To quote former New York City Mayor and professional pothead Bill De Blasio, “We count those differently.” If you subtract black-on-black mass shootings from the equation, the number of mass shootings in the US is roughly equal to the European Union.
And since we’re on the subject, even “these kinds” of mass shootings rarely ever happen here in America. The shooter was a Hispanic and most of his victims were Hispanic. That’s an extreme rarity in mass shootings, so no, Joe, this doesn’t happen all that often.
“Where in God’s name is our backbone?”
What does that even mean? Do you know who showed backbone? The teachers in that school who protected their young students, and the Border Patrol agents and state and local police who took the shooter down.
“It’s time to turn the pain into action. It’s time to act!”
Again: The children who were murdered in this mass shooting had not all been identified yet, and their parents had not been notified of their deaths, when Joe Biden jumped straight into his partisan let’s-grab-all-the-guns talking points. Sickening.
“It’s time to let people know who block common-sense gun laws, we won’t forget.”
The people “blocking” those laws are called voters. And they “block” your gun-grabbing BS by voting. Otherwise known as democracy.
Oh, and you won’t forget? Always the threats with this guy.
Joe Biden couldn’t even wait until all of the parents in Uvalde, TX had been notified whether their children were alive or dead. He barely made it into his loathsome speech before he jumped straight into partisan Democrat Party talking points. There was no compassion at all on display for the mothers and fathers who just lost their children.
If this speech doesn’t prove to everyone that Joe Biden is a partisan hack, who isn’t interested in unifying the country like he promised and unqualified to be in the Oval Office, nothing will.

Guns have no mind of their own. They are a tool used by a person. Therefor people are the problem. More needs to be done to keep people with mental problems from acquiring weapons such as guns, knives, bombs, poison, and vehicles. Any person with mental problems should be identified and prohibited from acquiring weapons. Surely no one would object to that. The civilian rights to bear arms would no doubt discourage any foreign power to try to invade. Remember; without firepower USA would now be a British Colony.

You are correct in your analyses, with one exception you didn’t include the ANGER emotion. I have spent a bit of time considering the possible mind set of these perpetrators and have concluded that anger and frustration could conceivably be responsible for a percentage of these acts. Our so called governments total ignorance of what their constituents want from them creates a great deal of animosity. I’m 89, but I still am active socially with a friends from all corners of our wonderful country, including Hawaii. And I find that they are all agree that if we don’t do something soon it will be TOO LATE.
Everything happening today is the direct fault of LBJ’s great society programs passed in the ’60’s. Don’t forget the parents have a responsibility here. They know when their child has a deep problem.. They need a place to take their child to, not just a family doctor. Open up some hospitals, not necessary insane institutions. Get help asap.
