Troubling New Report Finds Chinese are Stealing American Military Technology

A new report released by the Department of Defense reveals that China is actually stealing directly from the U.S. taxpayer and President Joe Biden is turning a blind eye to it.

The report states that the Chinese are effectively running a massive scheme designed to suck the best new military innovations out of the U.S.

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) reviewed the report and confirmed that American companies are receiving taxpayer money from the DOD in order to develop technology, before eventually being “recruited by China to continue their work at institutions associated with People’s Liberation Army. The U.S. company is then dissolved and the research and intellectual property paid for U.S. tax dollars is transferred to a subsidiary in China.”

“Just like that, American-made ingenuity is shipped overseas to our leading global adversary … and we, the America taxpayers, are funding it!”

“This isn’t just another case of intellectual property theft.  This ongoing scheme has national and economic security implications according to the Pentagon,” Ernst said.

One example showing exactly how the Chinese are able to get away with this theft, a researcher and co-founders of an American company received four grants to develop space and drone technology.

 Then they were recruited by the Chinese government, dissolved their American company, and now work for institutions tied to the Communist power’s defense agency.

In total, tens of millions worth of tax-payer dollars went towards grants like this one and helped fund research which ultimately landed in the hands of the CCP according to Ernst.

The DOD report found that these grant recipients were exploiting the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

Ernst introduced a new bill to modify these programs which ties a reauthorization of funding for the two programs to a requirement that agencies involved conduct a risk assessment of grant applicants to detect any possible ties to China, North Korea, Russia, Iran, “or any other country determined to be a country of concern by the Secretary of State.”

It also requires funding applicants to disclose “individuals of the small business concern who are a party to any foreign talent recruitment program of any foreign country of concern, including the People’s Republic of China.”

 “This has to stop right now,” Ernst said.

The Chinese have been strategically taking over every aspect of American life and have achieved this in a number of ways like infiltrated our universities as donation disclosures show.

Many suspect that the Chinese have even managed to compromise President Joe Biden and his family who are known to have made a number of shady businesses dealings with the communist government, so could it be that traitorous Democrats like Biden are helping the Chinese to successfully pull off this massive scheme.
