When it comes to the topic of fixing our federal government once and for all, it’s becoming clear that simple reform may not be enough to get the job done – President Donald Trump must ABOLISH entire agencies.
Some of the free-loaders in Washington, D.C. are so committed to propping up this failed, overly oppressive government bureaucracy that they are going to EXTREME lengths to hide the anti-American work their agency is doing.
Department of Education staff are reportedly using an encrypted messaging app named Signal to avoid oversight from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) while they CONTINUE to secretly operate a program which spends federal tax dollars on illegal immigrants.
A Branch Chief at the US Department of Education was caught on undercover video LAUGHING IT UP about how successful they have been in hiding the work they’re doing from DOGE and Congress in a DIRECT attempt to subvert Trump’s agenda.
“If Congress actually knew that we don’t ask that [citizenship status], there would be a lot of, probably, a lot of uproar,” DOE Branch Chief Travis Combs said. “You know how they have like sanctuary cities? We would be a sanctuary program where we’re spending federal dollars on illegal immigrants.”
This gem of a person is a branch chief in the Department of Education’s office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education. In the video he states that his job is to oversee staff who “develop professional development projects for teachers and adult education.” They focus on GED programs, high school diplomas, ESL [English as a second language], and citizenship.
He said that the “one nice thing about this program that I work in is we don’t ask [citizenship] status, and we’ve been able to keep that out of our federal statute,” he said. “We don’t ask them when they enroll what their status is.”
Combs said “undocumented” people can EASILY take part in this program which is funded by the American taxpayers and meant FOR the American taxpayers – not illegal immigrants.
At one point, the undercover journalist asked Combs if Congress has ever attempted to push legislation REQUIRING citizenship to participate in the DOE’s programs and the employee of the apparently rogue federal agency said yes, “but then we block it.”
“We just take that out, that they have to ask for status… We just leave it completely out,” Combs said. “When they mark up a bill, they only read sections of it. And so if you can squeeze something in somewhere, do that.”
The journalist asked if that is “still in place,” and Combs said yes, adding that the DOE manipulates legislation “very strategically” to ensure that they can continue to use the department as a slush fund for radical leftist policies.
Combs went on to say that DOGE has come in to review the department, shutting off everyone’s access” to everything” so they can review what the agency has actually been doing. He added that DOGE installed software to track keystrokes on department computers, and placed monitors on Microsoft Teams to “listen in to the calls we have with team members or contractors.”
As a counter to this, he and several of his colleagues have begun using Signal to communicate because it’s “encrypted end-to-end.”
“So everybody uses, it’s an app called Signal, now,” Combs said. “Everybody is using it.”
When the journalist asked him what he thinks would happen if the Trump administration found out what he and others at the department had been doing, the typical arrogant D.C. swamp creature scoffed and said the worst they can do is send him on a tax-payer funded vacation.
“‘What are you going to do if they put you on leave?’ I’m like, ‘Go to the beach on the taxpayer’s dime,’” Combs said.
Then the journalist said he is surprised more federal employees aren’t doing that, and Combs said THEY ARE.
This individual is making it clear that mass firings might not be enough to resolve the issues at some of these agencies. Some of them are just too far gone, this anti-American ideology has spread throughout the agency like a cancer and the only way to fix it is to completely get rid of them altogether.
