Mob of Leftist Parents Get California Teacher Thrown Out of Classroom for Supporting ICE

Imagine this: You’re a teacher trying to help kids with special needs in a California school district where 84 percent of students are Hispanic. You post a short, simple message on Facebook—“Yay!!! We need ICE in Watsonville!! It’s been getting out of hand.” Sounds like a personal opinion, not exactly a manifesto. Next thing you know, you’re being chased by an online mob, called “trash,” threatened with having your tires popped, and shoved out of your classroom. Welcome to Pajaro Valley Unified School District, where the First Amendment apparently gets graded F.

The teacher in question, Sarai Jimenez, is now on administrative leave. Her crime? Daring to support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement—also known as ICE, the federal agency tasked with enforcing immigration law.

Let’s be clear: Jimenez didn’t say anything racist. She didn’t call for deportations or insult anyone. She said the town was “getting out of hand” and that ICE might help. That’s it. Cue the pitchforks. One local activist accused her of potentially harming immigrant children “behind closed doors.” Because now if you support law enforcement, the left considers you a threat to children.

Beth Yvette Limas, a self-appointed Facebook judge, jury, and executioner, declared, “This piece of trash needs to get fired and away from our children!!!” And like all good digital mobs, they didn’t stop there. Dozens lined up to call the school demanding her removal. Penny Kariofillis chimed in, “Let all call Pajaro Valley School District. She should not work with our children.” Nothing says tolerance like organized harassment.

And as usual, the school district caved faster than a Hollywood agent at a DEI seminar. They’re now looking for a “long-term substitute” to take over Jimenez’s class. Because nothing says stability for kids with learning challenges like swapping teachers midyear over a Facebook post.

The teachers’ union president, Brandon Diniz, joined the pile-on with a masterclass in passive-aggressive double-speak. He calls Jimenez’s comment an example of “blatant disrespect for our local community,” yet says he can’t comment on individual cases. Then he casually mentions she’s posted “anti-immigrant” videos before. Apparently being conservative in California is illegal.  When did we start letting union bosses play thought police?

Let’s not forget: Jimenez apologized. “I’m sorry that the comment was taken out of context,” she said. “But my actions speak so much louder than all those hateful bullies’ words.” That’s a class act response to a classless attack. Too bad in California, apologies only count if you’re a Democrat caught in a scandal—or Hunter Biden.

The real message here? If you’re a teacher in California and you dare stray an inch from the hyper-progressive line, you’re done. Supporting federal law enforcement is now considered “unusual” behavior in public schools. How long before saying the Pledge of Allegiance gets you sent to HR?

This isn’t about ICE. It’s about control. The woke mob isn’t trying to protect kids; they’re policing thought. The goal is to make examples out of people like Sarai Jimenez so the rest of the workforce stays silent, scared, and obedient.

The left used to chant “Question authority.” Now they *are* the authority, and if you question them, your job, your reputation, and your safety are up for grabs.

So the next time someone tells you cancel culture isn’t real, ask them this: Why is it more dangerous to support ICE in California than to openly defy federal law?

Something tells me more than tires are getting popped in that town.
