While Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are working overtime to try and clean up the mounds of dangerous illegal aliens that the Democrats brought into the country over the past four year… those same Democrats are now apparently putting those agents in SERIOUS danger.
In recent weeks we have seen Democrat politicians physically attacking ICE agents or following them around and filming them… but this latest act of leftist “rebellion” against ICE might actually be the worst.
Nashville’s Democrat mayor publicly released the names of MULTIPLE federal agents with the immigration agency, effectively putting a target on their backs for the ruthless criminal enterprises like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua who these agents are trying to deport.
The mayor, Freddie O’Connell, released information on interactions between ICE agents and Nashville emergency service personnel, publishing the data which included names of the federal law enforcement personnel.
O’Connell claimed that their names were released by mistake.. but the Department of Homeland security seems to think otherwise – and so do we.
“They claimed it was a mistake. There’s zero chance it was a mistake and there will be repercussions,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin charged in response to the incident.
“Our ICE enforcement officers are already facing a 400% increase in assaults against them and he’s essentially handing over intelligence to these criminal gangs so they can target our ICE enforcement officers. It’s wrong. It’s beneath the city of Nashville.”
DHS added that it’s clear, “The Nashville Mayor is protecting illegal aliens and gang members over his constituents.”
As McLaughlin notes, this might be beneath the city of Nashville – but it’s not beneath the Democratic party and it’s CERTAINLY not beneath this particular mayor.
Just recently, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) confirmed that the House Judiciary Committee and Homeland Security launched investigations into O’Connell, after he condemned ICE agents who carried out enforcement operations in his city.
O’Connell then signed an executive order REQUIRING city officials to report any correspondence with ICE agents… and we now know that his plan all along was to use this correspondence to dox those agents.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) also nuked this radical Democrat mayor, accusing him of “putting ICE agents and law enforcement in harm’s way by releasing their names for criminal gangs to see.”
“These men and women have risked their lives to make our communities safer by removing gangs, rapists, and other heinous criminals from our communities,” the Senator said, “Shame on him.”
And this is EXACTLY what has happened.
For some reason, this Democrat mayor wanted to protect the criminal illegal aliens in his city so badly that he was willing to put federal agent’s lives in danger…
The Democrats are TRULY a bunch of lunatics who want to see this country burn down… and the longer we leave them in power, the more damage they will continue to do!
