A staffer for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) recently ADMITTED to causing more than $20,000 in property damage by vandalizing several vehicles… and a George Soros backed prosecutor seems to think it’s perfectly fine – because he’s a Democrat.
Tim Walz’s Fiscal policy analyst, Dylan Bryan Adams, was caught on camera keying several Teslas while walking his dog, which is bizarre new form of protest that the left has adopted which consists of damaging people’s cars to show how much they hate the car manufacturer’s CEO, Elon Musk.
This makes no sense, but not much that the liberals do makes any sense so there’s not much different there.
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, meanwhile, is refusing to seek criminal charges against the Tim Walz employee, opting to seek “diversion” instead of criminal charges.
“Our main priorities are to secure restitution for the victims and hold Mr. Adams accountable,” Hennepin County Attorney’s Office spokesman Daniel Borgertpoepping stated.
“As a result, we will file for pre-charge diversion to best facilitate both of those goals. This is an approach taken in many property crime cases and helps to ensure the individual keeps their job and can pay restitution, as well as reducing the likelihood of repeat offenses. Criminal prosecution remains a possibility should unlawful behavior continue.”
The County Attorney is effectively letting Adams off scot-free… simply because he is a Democrat who was doing what Democrats do.
Local police certainly don’t seem to be too happy about the decision…
“The Minneapolis Police Department did its job,” Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara reacted. “It identified and investigated a crime trend, identified and arrested a suspect, and presented a case file to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges. This case impacted at least six victims and totaled over $20,000 in damages,”
O’Hara continued, “Any frustration related to the charging decision of the Hennepin County Attorney should be directed solely at her office. Our investigators are always frustrated when the cases they poured their hearts into are declined. In my experience, the victims in these cases often feel the same.”
Obviously the reason why this is important is not the crime, some scratches on a Tesla is not the end of the world in the grand scheme of things. What really matters here is what the decision suggests.
The far-left billionaire George Soros has been funding protests and attacks against Tesla after identifying it as a “weak spot” for Elon Musk, one of President Donald Trump’s top advisers.
The Hennepin County Attorney, was put into power by the web of Soros’ dark money, just made it clear to any agitators out there that if you are on the Democrats side and attack where Democrats are in control – they will do whatever they need to in order to protect them.
In other words, not only is George Soros fueling political attacks meant to stall conservative efforts – he also has the people in power to bail out his crew if they get caught in the act…
This has seriously dangerous implications and it may not be too big of a deal now because they’re just attacking Teslas… but what happens when they start attacking US as they have threatened to do so much.
They basically have a get out of jail free card if there is a Soros prosecutor in town…
