On August 1, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) launched an investigation into the daughter of Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan. The purpose of the probe is to determine whether Merchan’s daughter, who is a political consultant for the Democrat Party, has been personally profiting from the New York kangaroo court proceedings that have been used to persecute Donald Trump.
New evidence has been uncovered that Loren Merchan’s business partner may have been fundraising for Kamala Harris off of the Manhattan trial all along.
As you already know, President Trump was found “guilty” by a rigged jury of labeling payments to his attorney as “legal expenses.” As the trial was going on, the corrupt Democrat Party judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan, saw her political consulting firm’s profits skyrocket. It sure looks as though Judge Merchan’s family was personally profiting from the Trump trial.
This is why Judge Merchan has kept President Trump under a gag order all this time, even though the trial concluded back in June.
Loren Merchan’s business partner is a guy named Mike Nellis. Loren Merchan and Nellis’s political fundraising operation is called Authentic Campaigns, Inc., which is based in Chicago.
When Jim Jordan started the probe into Authentic Campaigns, Inc. on August 1, Loren Merchan said her business was being “targeted by a baseless right-wing conspiracy theory that suggests our company is somehow involved in the Donald Trump fraud trial in New York.”
Notice the careful and deceptive legal wording of that statement. Jordan is investigating whether Loren Merchan was fundraising for Kamala Harris off the Trump trial. He wasn’t suggesting that Loren Merchan was involved with the trial.
Mike Nellis told the Judiciary Committee in writing that Authentic Campaigns hadn’t had any involvement with Kamala Harris since at least before January 1, 2023. It appears that this may have been a lie.
For one thing, Mike Nellis was one of the organizers of the pitiful “White Dudes for Harris” fundraiser just last month, after Joe Biden was kicked out of the race and replaced. The evidence is even deeper than that, however.
Laura Loomer has exclusively found that Mike Nellis and Loren Merchan founded a new fundraising company in March of this year—right as the Trump trial was getting under way. The new company is named Avalanche Acquisitions, LLC. The only people listed as officers for the company are Mike Nellis and Loren Merchan.
Avalanche Acquisitions, LLC filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on March 15, 2024. Again, that’s right as the Trump trial was getting underway. Avalanche Acquisitions filed an intent to raise money for a single client, starting on that date:
The Biden Victory Fund. As you may remember that fund was renamed the Harris Victory Fund after Joe Biden was ousted from the campaign in Nancy Pelosi’s palace coup in July.
Let’s break this down.
Nellis and Loren Merchan claimed that Authentic Campaigns was not fundraising for Joe Biden or Kamala Harris during the trial. Instead, they set up an alternative PAC with a different name.
That’s a simple process. It only requires filling out a two-page form, listing the names of the PAC’s officers, and paying a $35 filing fee with the FEC. That’s all it takes and then you can start fundraising for a candidate within 72 hours of the FEC receiving the paperwork.
Authentic Campaigns has not done any fundraising for Joe Biden and later Kamala Harris. The deception is that Loren Merchan and Mike Nellis set up an alternative PAC—Avalanche Acquisitions—and has been fundraising off the Trump trial since it started in March.
Mike Nellis and Loren Merchan have some explaining to do to the House Judiciary Committee. Frankly, it looks like Judge Juan Merchan does as well, but he will hide behind his black robe and continue to pretend that he is a non-partisan arbiter of fair and equal justice.
There’s one last thing about this that seems a bit odd, however. Mike Nellis stated in his letter to the Judiciary Committee that he has never had any communication with Judge Merchan, except through the judge’s daughter. That’s odd.
