As we recently learned, the New York Times and several other liberal news outlets have been receiving millions of dollars from the federal government to act as propaganda for the Democratic Party.
Through corrupt U.S. agencies like the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and several others, these liberal outlets have been heavily subsidized via out tax dollars. All they had to promise in return was that they would do their part to brainwash the public into hating all things conservative and that dementia potato Joe Biden was some kind of geo-political genius.
So it shouldn’t be surprising that the very outlets who benefitted from this fraudulent scheme, are now telling the American people that there is no fraud, telling the public, once again, not to believe their own eyes.
Hoping to keep the millions in federal tax subsidies rolling in, the New York Times put out a hit piece, attempting to discredit the work the Department of Government Efficiency and it’s leader Elon Musk has done over the past three weeks.
In other words, the deep state activated its propaganda arm.
The New York Times article was headlined, “At Oval Office, Musk Makes Broad Claims of Federal Fraud Without Proof” and was a sad desperate attempt to convince the American public not to believe anything they’re being told about how the government is wasting our money.
The entire article tried to make it seem as though Elon and DOGE had no actual proof of fraud, simply because Elon didn’t present the receipts during one specific Oval Office meeting with President Donald Trump.
Never mind the fact that the evidence had been plastered all over the internet, including by Elon himself on social media, the NY Times saw an opportunity to spin this in their favor and, desperate as they are, they ran with it.
One of the things they said Musk had no proof of was the fact that federal employees had been getting rich off of kickbacks while slinging American tax dollars to organizations who would give them the most in return.
“We do find it sort of rather odd that, you know, there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who have ostensibly a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars but somehow managed to accrue tens of millions dollars in net worth while they are in that position, which is, you know what happened to USAID,” Musk said.
“We’re just curious as to where it came from. Maybe they’re very good at investing,” he added sarcastically.
But funny enough, they relied on a BBC fact-check to “disprove” this claim… but the BBC itself was ALSO funded by USAID – more propaganda.
Another thing they attempted to undermine was DOGE’s discovery that the Treasury Department had effectively been cutting blank checks to, as Musk relayed, “known fraudsters, known aspects of waste, known things that do not match any congressional appropriation.”
Musk said that Treasury needs “basic controls in place” like any company would have to make sure improper payments are not just flying around.
Meanwhile, The Times attempt to rebut this claim focused entirely on deceased people who would be 150-year-olds receiving Social Security payments, claiming that this was an absurd claim… even though it really is happening…
Musk has repeatedly suggested the elimination of fraud and waste alone may be enough to balance the budget, but as you can, the beneficiaries of that fraud and waste are working overtime to prevent that from happening.
The New York Times and their puppet masters are doing everything they can to CONTINUE bleeding the American taxpayers dry. It’s obvious they do not have our backs in the fight against wasting our money.
