When it comes to Donald Trump’s campaign strategy perhaps no one thing is more genuinely iconic than his epic outdoor rallies – and the Secret Service just took that away from him.
After a number of very intentional “failures” by the U.S. Secret Service very nearly led to the successful assassination of President Trump, the agency is now telling the former president that he is unable to hold anymore outdoor rallies “for his safety.”
“In the aftermath of the shooting, agents from the Secret Service communicated their concerns about large outdoor rallies going forward to Trump campaign advisers, three people familiar with the matter said,” the Washington Post reported.
In other words, the very same agency which nearly just got Trump killed is telling him that he better not host anymore of his infamous outdoor rallies because next time, the shooter that manages to “slip past their perimeter” won’t miss.
Either the Secret Service is admitting that they are incapable of protecting Donald Trump from further attacks or they are trying to hamstring his campaign and help Kamala win– both being terrifying in their own way.
If the agency is actually warning Trump that he’s no longer able to speak at outdoor events because they don’t have know-how to keep him safe, that means that our esteemed Secret Service which was once regarded as the most elite protection service IN THE WORLD, has been so tainted by DEI garbage that they can no longer perform the most basic of functions.
Beyond even that the agency is effectively pinning the blame for the shooting ON TRUMP, saying that if he hadn’t been such a “bother” with his massive outdoor rallies then this might have never happened.
The Washington Post further wrote that according to those three sources they spoke with, “The rallies have long been viewed as onerous by the Secret Service because they include complicated outdoor venues with thousands — if not tens of thousands — of people,”
“Most other former presidents rarely appear in public, and when they do, they usually appear in settings such as conferences and restaurants with fewer people. Trump requires a much larger security footprint than other past presidents because he holds so many large events.”
Trump, who The Post seems to have forgotten is the Republican presidential nominee, NOT just a former president, holds his rallies outdoors because he attracts a MASSIVE crowd everywhere he goes and having the events outside allows for more people than an arena or stadium might.
Evidently In the eyes of the USSS, their job would be so much easier if Trump was more like Biden or Kamala, who can only attract tens of paid actors to their sad little rallies.
On the other hand, the idea that the Secret Service’s “warning” to Trump was really just a veiled threat ultimately points to yet another way in which the Democrats and all of their allies – including in the USSS – are trying to do whatever it takes to rig the 2024 election against Trump.
Trump’s legendary outdoor rallies have been regarded as one of his most effective campaign tools so it’s no coincidence that the federal agency is telling him that if he knows what’s good for him, he’d better stop!
Back in 2020 the left-wing media celebrated that COVID had taken away Trump’s extremely powerful rallies and now they’re trying to do it again.
Federalist CEO Sean Davis tweeted that “This is a direct threat from the regime to Trump: if he doesn’t stop trying to win, they’ll make sure the next attacker doesn’t miss. We all know what they’re doing.”
But if they’re hoping that putting a stop to his outdoor rallies will slow him down, they’re in for a rude awakening because news flash – it won’t!
