The Secret Service Agents from the Butler Rally Just Lawyered Up

Two of the Secret Service agents who were supposed to protect President Donald Trump at the Butler, PA rally in July have hired attorneys to represent them. We don’t know what this means yet, but there are a couple of possibilities.

It could be that they’re worried that the agency will throw them under the bus as part of the operation to sweep the whole incident under the rug. Another option is that they’ve been subpoenaed by the US Attorney’s grand jury that we know is investigating the assassination attempt.

You’re likely up to speed on the ridiculous “mistakes were made” narrative that the Secret Service is trying to build up around these assassination attempts against President Trump. They didn’t meet with local law enforcement before the Butler rally. They didn’t have proper communication channels set up. The Secret Service ignored warnings from local law enforcement to secure the roof of the AGR building.

All of this is a smokescreen designed to make the shooting look like incompetence, rather than willful malice on the part of federal agents. This is a lie, which is obvious considering how close the second shooter came to assassinating President Trump this month. No one is this incompetent unless it is deliberate.

Since they’re going with the “mistakes are made” narrative, it likely means that some people are going to be fired because of the Butler rally. That would complete the cover-up of the Secret Service’s actions, while the FBI continues to keep the investigation of Crooks classified. If the agents suspect that they’re the ones who are going to be fired, that could be why some of them lawyered up.

Four of the agents at the rally have now been identified in media reports. The lead counter-sniper was John Marciniak. The lead advance agent was Meredith Bank. Two of the site agents have been identified as Myosoty Perez and Dana DuBrey, and they are the two who have hired lawyers.

I’m sorry to sound like such a chauvinist d*ck here, but why are there so many women on President Trump’s protective detail? They’re all three feet shorter than Trump and they completely fell apart at the rally. We all saw them fumbling around with their guns and their ponytails and it just drives me nuts that these diversity hires were tasked with protecting the leading candidate for President of the United States. If they want to work in the Secret Service, I’m sure they could be valuable assets in the counterfeiting department. Leave the protective details to the burly men who know how to handle firearms. Good grief!

FBI whistleblower Greg Roman says that the Secret Service would gladly throw a few of their agents under the bus to make this whole thing go away.

“The Secret Service higher-ups will gladly sacrifice a few of their own just to placate Congress and some in the media to put this thing to bed as soon as possible,” Roman told Headline USA.

The other possibility is that they’ve been subpoenaed in the secret grand jury investigation that was uncovered a few weeks ago. Human Events and America First Legal tried to get copies of Thomas Crooks’s school records from the Community College of Allegheny County. They were informed by the college that it couldn’t comply with the request because Crooks’s records had all been subpoenaed for a grand jury investigation.

We still don’t know why the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania has empaneled a grand jury, but you only do that if there’s a criminal investigation underway. This likely means someone in the US Attorney’s Office has reason to believe that Crooks did not act alone. We won’t know unless and until charges are filed.

It’s interesting to note that one of the Secret Service agents hired attorney Mark Zaid to represent her. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s an anti-Trump zealot. He represented one of the Vindman brothers during the impeachment trial of President Trump over the Ukraine phone call hoax. Maybe the Secret Service agent thinks Zaid is a good attorney, but it’s odd that she would hire that guy to represent her. Out of all the attorneys in Pennsylvania, she picks one who helped the Democrats try to impeach Donald Trump?

We just wish we could get some straight answers out of anyone. It’s obvious that a cover-up is underway.
