The Supreme Court finally heard oral arguments on Thursday about whether Donald Trump enjoys presidential immunity from prosecution for official acts undertaken while he was in office. Every previous president in US history has enjoyed immunity from prosecution after he left office, but it’s supposedly different when we’re talking about Donald Trump for unexplained reasons.
The bad news for Jack Smith and his band of merry Hillary Clinton supporters was that none of the six conservative justices on the court seemed convinced by the arguments that Smith’s team brought.
The three liberal justices on the court tried to bring up a bunch of dumb hypothetical scenarios.
But what if a president sells the nuclear codes?
But what if a president orders a coup or a political assassination?
But what if a president takes a bribe?
Um… hello? Like a bribe from, say, China?
The conservative justices, however, brought up more concrete examples to highlight the absurdity of prosecuting President Trump for trying to ensure the integrity of an election outcome he considered sketchy.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh brought up one of our favorite examples, which was when Barack Obama murdered American civilians in a drone strike. You may not like Anwar al-Awlaki’s politics or his religion, but he was an American civilian and therefore entitled to due process. He wasn’t accused of any crime and Obama dropped a bomb on his head and killed him, along with his innocent American teenage son who was standing next to him.
Amazingly, Smith’s prosecutors argued that it was legal for Obama to murder Americans in drone strikes because the Department of Justice investigated and decided it was okay.
Justice Clarence Thomas brought up John F. Kennedy’s Operation Mongoose. JFK authorized the CIA to team up with the Mafia to carry out terrorist attacks and slaughter civilians in Cuba, to destabilize Fidel Castro’s government. JFK also authorized multiple cockamamie plans to assassinate Castro, as well as the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion.
One of the justices brought up the fact that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had rounded up 125,000 Japanese Americans and locked them in internment camps for the duration of World War II.
No one brought it up, but another example was George W. Bush authorizing the torture of captured Taliban prisoners, which never resulted in the prevention of a single terrorist attack on US soil.
Likewise, President Andrew Jackson was never prosecuted for the Trail of Tears, and the list goes on and on.
Let’s recap some of these official acts just to compare the severity of them.
Barack Obama deliberately killed American civilians in drone strikes. JFK authorized terrorist attacks on civilians. FDR imprisoned people based on their race. George W. Bush had people tortured. And Donald Trump said some words out loud about the 2020 election.
One of these things is not like the others!
It’s kind of remarkable that Smith’s gang of corrupt prosecutors argued that all that other stuff was perfectly legal—murder, terrorism, racial imprisonment, torture, etc.—but when Donald Trump questioned the integrity of an election, that was somehow a criminal act because it was carried out for Trump’s self-interest.
Justice Samuel Alito said some profound things about the nature of this lawfare attack against President Trump. He pointed out that criminalizing individuals just because they question the results of government-run elections presents a very real risk of completely destabilizing democracy as we know it. He didn’t mention President Trump—he said “individuals.” That could be a hint about how the court is leaning when it comes to handling the Biden regime’s prosecution of January 6ers.
Contrary to what some legal experts are claiming, the Supreme Court is not likely to rule that Donald Trump has blanket immunity from prosecution. The most likely scenario is that they’ll send the case back to the appellate court with instructions to clarify the difference between an official act and a private interest act.
The good news about that is that Jack Smith’s BS case against Trump will then be postponed until after the election. Good luck prosecuting President Trump after we reelect him. Smith and his team should be worried that they just argued it’s okay for a president to kill Americans with drone strikes if he doesn’t like them.

There is not one shred of evidence that Trtump dfidf anything wrong. Not one. It has cost him millions of dollars in lawyer fees and he should sue every judge and lawyer involved in these bogus trials for everything they have or will have. It just made them think twice before doing something like this again.
Regarding TRIAL IN NEW YORK HAPPENING NOW, a MAJORITY OF Legal scholars have stated, “There is no crime, no one was hurt”. Though some may view unethical, most politicians have done these things before and IT IS NOT A CRIME . This should have never been in a court of law. This court is not of law. A judge who is compromised nd refused to step down. Attorneys clearly left minded and not law minded. A state with politicians that have indoctrinated many to hate a President that only did great things for our country. The things they accuse him of, they have done. True records show Trump loved America and always put country and citizens first. Shame on all for allowing this. Real Democracy is gone and now we have a dictator mentality in control.
It does seem that people with certain left leaning affiliations have and continue to persecute President Trump. The division that our own elected officials have pushed on our country is in their own words “deplorable”. Biden is a very weak president. His policies don’t seem to help the people of our great country. They have a blood lust for power. So what if you have to trample all over the constitution to get there. God be with us
From ginsberg on forward they have tried to skew the law of the land. Today they are doing anything they want to destroy it for their own purposes. They make up rules as they go and the “power” is struggling to stay in. Just remember in Nov. they may have stolen one or two million votes but seventy-five million were cast buy US. We can’t let it happen again.
IF, for whatever reason, patriotic America-first Trump isn’t elected in November, am certain we can kiss this terribly tattered and deeply divided union good-bye. In fact, am sure that even under his tutalege the fatal division will continue to play out. Why? History tells us that Marxists will not surrender. They have to be soundly defeated from a civilized union. In any event, free people do not take kindly to being cornered by tyranny and at some point soon something’s gotta’ give. My sense tells me there will be formal division. The Marxists can self-destruct in their own territory and Americans can flourish in theirs. Simple reason this division will take place: oil and water don’t mix,no matter how much we might wish that isn’t so. If Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is our goal, then it’s painfully obvious now that this union can no longer serve that purpose.
Common sense would dictate in this matter. Donald Trump merely ask for clarification. Where as the other Presidents decisions involved loss of lives which could have been avoided with a sensible approach to resolve the issues. What a coincidence that these former Presidents were Democrats. These inconsistencies should vindicate Trump and have Jack Smith drop his case which is nothing but lies. Smith and Garland should be disbarred!!
should vindicate Trump, the other former Presidents, including the incumbent, should be indicted
