Airlines Continue Vaccine Mandate Push – But at Least There Are Goldfish

Airlines nationwide continue to cancel flights due to staffing shortages caused by COVID-19 vaccine mandates. It seems forcing workers to take a shot they don’t want has shockingly led to workers looking elsewhere for employment.

The airlines themselves have put up a brave front and acted like all is well. For example, more international flights are opening back up. Of course, many of these only apply for travelers who are fully vaccinated. Food service is backed up too. You may wait for hours and endure multiple canceled flights, but at least you will be given some Goldfish crackers to tide you over as you wait on the tarmac!

Then, of course, there’s the Bidenflation factor. You probably haven’t seen many bargain commercials on cheap prices to Florida for the winter. Why not? There aren’t any. The flight that cost $229 pre-COVID and pre-Biden might now cost $415. And that’s if the flight isn’t canceled, actually departs on time and you behave and wear a mask over your nose and mouth from the time you enter the airport until you exit the airport at your final destination.

Then there’s the luggage! Remember when bags flew free? That was nice. Now you’re lucky if the bag arrives at all, even if you don’t check it and decide to travel with it yourself. After it gets gate checked a couple of times and you miss a flight or two, your bags might arrive by the time you depart your trip to head home and repeat the process.

You know where the best flights are right now? The Middle East. Some of the fights out of Saudi Arabia are more like a hotel experience than the subway slum path American airlines have taken.

The airline industry decline is not alone in its downward spiral under Biden. Vaccine mandates are crushing companies and communities in ways we have yet to fully experience. In some cities, police will be so short staffed that officers won’t respond to your call unless it’s considered a violent crime.

Have a kitty stuck in a tree. Don’t call the fires department now. You’ll be lucky if they are staff enough to show up if there’s a fire.

The same goes for the Border Patrol and even the U.S. military. About the only way to avoid a vaccine mandate is to identify as an illegal immigrant crossing the southern border. Then you might get a payout from the government and can travel as you please.

Biden might actually cause reverse immigration. If the benefits are better as an immigrant, why not move out, establish residency in say, Honduras, and then cross the southern border and see what happens?

Sure, it might not be quite to that point, but it’s close. Some liberals claimed they would move out of the country if Trump was reelected. Now conservatives are at the point where it would sound like a good idea – if we didn’t love America enough to stay and fight.
