Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Insisted Migrant Detainees Were Drinking from Toilets, But Border Patrol Exposes the Truth with Video Tour

Recently, extreme leftist U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D– NY), visited migrant detention facilities at the U.S. southern border with Mexico. Yet again, the outspoken lawmaker created controversy. After her trip, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets” according to TheBlaze. But, it didn’t take long for the New York representative’s outrageous claims to outed as lies.

So, what exactly went down this time with Ocasio-Cortez? According to the Washington Examiner, the liberal lawmaker screamed at federal law enforcement agents “in a threatening manner” while visiting a Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas.

According to two individuals who saw the incident unfold, the New York congresswoman refused to tour the facility. One witness, who admitted being stunned by Ocasio-Cortez’s outburst in front of an estimated 40 people, stated, “She comes out screaming at our agents, right at the beginning [of the tour] … Crying and screaming and yelling.”

He added, “The agents, they wanted to respond, but they held back because she’s a congressional delegate. But when you have someone yelling at you in a threatening manner … They were like, ‘Hey, you need to kinda step back.’”

A second witness claimed the New York representative sauntered in and out of a detainee cell while other members of her group were being briefed nearby. She allegedly returned to her group numerous times in order to reveal information she discovered from detainees including that one individual had drank from a toilet.

And, the freshman representative didn’t stop with toilet water. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “After I forced myself into a cell w/ women & began speaking to them, one of them described their treatment at the hands of officers as ‘psychological warfare’ – waking them at odd hours for no reason, calling them wh*res, etc. Tell me what about that is due to a ‘lack of funding?’”

She also wrote, “Now I’m on my way to Clint, where the Trump admin was denying children toothpaste and soap. This has been horrifying so far. It is hard to understate the enormity of the problem. We’re talking systemic cruelty w/ a dehumanizing culture that treats them like animals.”

According to the Washington Examiner, the agent at the El Paso detention facility maintained Ocasio-Cortez misrepresented why the woman in custody had drunk water from a toilet. The agent commented, “So this is what happened with the migrant and drinking water from toilet: she wanted water, didn’t know how to use the faucet in the cell, and drank from the toilet. She never told AOC that we made her drink from the toilet. AOC, of course, changed it … This was when she [the migrant] was apprehended and brought into the facility.”

As her controversial antics pile up, Ocasio-Cortez seems to be proving say anything to get the attention she wants. In an opinion piece for Fox News, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich said, “It took Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s visit to the border – and her dishonest comments afterward – to help me understand how profoundly vicious, cruel and dishonest she is.”

Gingrich stated, “When you look at the larger picture, it is clear that Ocasio-Cortez is eager and determined to undermine and destroy America as we have known it.”

The 2012 presidential candidate went on to remark, “Furthermore, Ocasio-Cortez should be called out for the viciousness, destructiveness, and dishonesty of her words and actions. It is time for decent people to stand up to her and ask: ‘Have you no shame?’”

To refute Ocasio-Cortez’s dangerous allegations, Arizona Border Patrol shared a video tour of their facility last week. The video was captioned “Here is a look at the inside of a #BorderPatrol processing center with Chief Patrol Agent of #TucsonSector Roy Villareal.”

In the clip, Villareal displays well-stocked supply closets packed with clothing, medical supplies, and personal hygiene items. Besides these goods, a supply cart filled with blankets, baby formula, and food is also shown. In the video, Villareal points out a water cooler in a detainee cell. The Border Patrol Agent also drinks water from a sink in the cell, which is attached to a toilet.

But don’t take out word for it, watch the video exposing AOC’s lies for yourself…
