While other parts of the world have borne the brunt of the global energy crisis thus-far, it’s becoming obvious that the United States is certainly not immune, and things are set to get much worse.
President Biden has slaughtered domestic oil production in the U.S. as part of the Democrats’ radical climate agenda, leaving the country at the whim of hostile foreign suppliers and the situation is far worse than politicians or the mainstream media are letting on.
The U.S. currently has its lowest distillate fuel (the type of fuel used for diesel) inventories since 2008, with demand for that very fuel hitting highs not seen since 2007 – sending prices soaring out of control.
Fuel supply company Mansfield Energy has warned that in addition to the prices hitting painful highs, parts of the U.S. are bound to be plagued by dangerous shortages.
According to Mansfield, diesel shortages will become a serious issue for the northeastern and southeastern United States.
“Poor pipeline shipping economics and historically low diesel inventories are combining to cause shortages in various markets throughout the Southeast. These have been occurring sporadically, with areas like Tennessee seeing particularly acute challenges,” the company remarked. “Usually the ‘low rack’ posters can sell many loads of fuel before running out of supply; now, they only have one or two loads.”
These shortages are even worse than they may initially appear to be. Diesel accounts for the majority of shipping activity in the United States the majority of shipping activity in the United States and cutting down those shipping lines would completely cripple an already weak Biden-led economy.
“Fuel suppliers have to pull from higher cost options, at a time when low-high spreads are much wider than normal,” Mansfield Energy continued. “At times, carriers are having to visit multiple terminals to find supply, which delays deliveries and strains local trucking capacity.”
Even after crippling America’s ability to be self-sufficient when it comes to its oil needs, President Biden has continued to make the problem worse by draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to historic lows.
Biden has drained more than 230 million barrels from the reserve, some of which ended up in the hands of foreign nations – including China where a petroleum company linked to Hunter Biden managed to secure some of America’s most critical oil supply.
The bad news for the Democrats, meanwhile, is that despite their best efforts to deceive the American public, a strong majority blame President Joe Biden and the Democrats for the dire conditions facing the country.
But this may be exactly what the Democrats want. Members of the Biden administration have openly bragged about how the energy woes will accelerate a transition to ‘green energy,’ something they have been trying to accomplish for decades.
