In an unbelievable development, a memo from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has leaked online showing their 2024 strategy for winning back control of the House. It’s brilliant. They plan to steal Donald Trump’s populist policies and claim that these were Democrat policies all along.
The sad thing is that this could actually work, since the corporate Republicans in the House want nothing more than to retreat from their own vote base and sneak back to the private country club where they can go “full Romney” against the American dream.
The DCCC memo just brazenly swipes a bunch of Trump’s policies, which House Democrats are now going to claim as their own. Here are some specific examples in the memo.
Keep in mind that Democrats are so dishonest and so bloodthirsty when it comes to elections that they will say or do anything to seize power.
Their first argument in the memo is that Republicans want to gut local manufacturing jobs. That’s the argument that they’ll be using in states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Yeah, did we mention that they are brazen?
Everyone knows that it was the 28 years of sustained globalism from corporate Republicans like George HW Bush and George W. Bush, along with globalists Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, that gutted American manufacturing.
The problem persisted so much and so badly that by the time of Barack Obama’s first term in office, 80 manufacturing plants per month were fleeing America’s shores for places like South Korea, China, Mexico and Vietnam.
The only reason why the problem slowed down during Obama’s second term was because American corporations were running out of manufacturing plants to ship overseas. This was one of the main reasons why Americans elected Donald Trump in 2016—because of the failure of Democrats and corporate Republicans to preserve American middle-class jobs.
Next, the House Democrats plan to campaign by telling the American people that Republicans want to “defund law enforcement.” Wow. Just… wow.
The party that has literally been chanting “Defund the Police” for the past three years while throwing a chair through the window of a McDonald’s to prove their point plans to tell the American people that all the crime in the big cities is because Republicans want to “defund law enforcement.” Note the difference between defunding the police and defunding “law enforcement.”
Their big proof for this argument will be Donald Trump’s recent calls for Republicans to defund the FBI and the Department of Justice.
Democrats will also make the absurd claim that Republicans want to cut healthcare services for veterans. This is an interesting choice, since every Democrat in the House of Representatives—100% of them—just voted against a bill to increase funding for veterans’ healthcare. The reason why they voted against the bill is because it didn’t contain any money for “free” transgender sex change surgeries for military members in it. True story.
There’s one section in the DCCC memo that talks about abortion and how Republicans want women to die in a back alley and yadda yadda yadda. Nobody cares about that, because the Democrats can never shut up about their burning desire to kill every last baby. Whatever.
Finally, the Democrats will campaign on a platform stating that Republicans want to enshrine corruption in the House of Representatives. The excuse that they will use for that is… George Santos. Yes, the man, the legend himself. George Santos of course won a congressional seat from New York in 2022 by using the Democrat Party’s own tactics against them.
He brazenly lied to the voters. Santos would change his genetic background and even his sexual preferences on the fly, depending on which audience he was talking to. He was like a miniature version of Vivek Ramaswamy. Sure, he later apologized and claimed that he meant to say he was “Jew-ISH” instead of actually “Jewish” (which was hilarious by the way), but that was just too beyond the pale for Elizabeth Warren and other frauds in the Democrat Party.
Sure, they’re brazenly lying. But this is a tacit admission by the Democrats that Donald Trump’s America First policies are a big hit with American voters. If only we could convince the corporate Republicans in the House and Senate that Trump’s policies can win.
