A Democrat mayoral candidate in Bridgeport, Connecticut has filed a lawsuit after videos emerged of city employees and others illegally stuffing ballot boxes in the middle of the night.
Candidate John Gomes lost the Democrat mayoral primary election in Bridgeport by just 251 votes last Tuesday. Police are investigating.
This comes on the heels of accusations of county-wide voter fraud that happened in the Democrat primary in Hinds, Mississippi in August. Apparently, voter fraud is all fun and games until it happens to Democrats.
John Gomes was in the race against incumbent Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim. Gomes won the election last Tuesday on the ballots cast on machines but lost based on a huge discrepancy in the mail-in ballots, which Ganim won by a 2-to-1 margin. Based on the absentee mail-in ballots deposited in drop boxes, Ganim led by 1,545 to 779.
The surveillance video that the Gomes campaign has uncovered is incredibly damning. A woman named Wanda Geter-Pataky works as Vice Chairwoman of the Town Clerk in Bridgeport. There’s an absentee ballot drop box located directly outside her office. There are two surveillance cameras inside the Town Clerk’s office—one pointed at Geter-Pataky’s desk, and another pointed at the front door. Another camera stationed outside the building shows the plaza outside and a side view of a ballot drop box, which is just inside the frame.
While she was working at 5:40 a.m. for some reason, Wanda Geter-Pataky walks outside and stuffs the drop box with absentee ballots. Like most states, each absentee voter is only allowed to drop off their own ballot and a ballot from an immediate family member. Geter-Pataky makes three trips from her desk to the drop box and deposits stacks and stacks of ballots in the middle of the night.
The stacks of ballots are so thick that they won’t fit in the drop box slot all at once. She has to break them up into smaller piles. Later that morning, she sends one of her co-workers or employees out to the drop box and has them deposit additional stacks of absentee ballots.
There’s no valid excuse for this. If the absentee ballots had been mailed and delivered to the clerk’s office, they wouldn’t wait until 5:42 a.m. to walk them outside and put them in a drop box when no one else is around. This is fraud.
The primary election was stolen from John Gomes. During Mayor Joe Ganim’s campaign victory speech after the election results were tallied, Wanda Geter-Pataky stood right behind the mayor. At one point during the speech, Geter-Pataky loudly yells, “I got your back, mayor!”
She sure did.
Gomes posted the video on his Facebook page and issued a statement, saying, “Video surveillance proving that the mayoral election was unequivocally stolen through corruption within City Hall by tampering with absentee ballots. This is an undeniable act of voter suppression and a huge civil rights violation. It’s time to restore lasting credibility to our city’s democracy. Once and for ALL. Enough is enough!”
Whoa! Sounds like Democrat mayoral candidate John Gomes is spreading a Big Lie conspiracy theory! The courts have found NO EVIDENCE of fraud! John Gomes is threatening our democracy! And that’s treason!
We feel bad for you, John Gomes. We really do. We wish that you could have had a fair-and-square election and that you had obtained the mayoral seat that you probably won. But… you know what?
This is happening because all of you Democrats sat there and watched the 2020 election stolen from the American people—and you liked it. You didn’t say a word. In fact, you repeat the media’s lies about that election to this day. Biden got 81 million votes! Right.
You don’t get to have it both ways, Democrats. If you don’t want fraud in elections, then you can’t sit there in silence while allowing the mechanisms for fraud to stay in use. If you don’t want stolen elections, you need to start speaking out against drop boxes, mail-in ballots, and electronic voting machines that no one trusts.
This is what your silence gets you, Democrats.
