Federal Judges Orders No Contact Between Biden Regime & Social Media Companies

US District Court Judge Terry Doughty issued a critically important ruling on Independence Day, regarding the Biden regime’s efforts to censor all of its political opponents on social media. Doughty is one of the stellar and important federal judges who was appointed by President Donald Trump.

As of July 4th, the White House, the Justice Department, the State Department, the CIA, the FBI and other branches of the Biden regime are prohibited from contacting social media companies at all. This should throw at least a partial wrench into the Democrats’ plans to meddle in the 2024 election.

The case is Missouri v. Biden. It was brought against the Executive branch of the Biden government by the Attorneys General of several red states, including Missouri. The plaintiffs seek to prove that the federal government under Joe Biden has engaged in massive, rampant censorship of the Democrats’ political opponents, under the guise of fighting “misinformation” and “disinformation.”

The final ruling will come at some point in the future from Judge Doughty. The ruling that came out this week was a temporary injunction from the judge. He notes that based on the evidence he’s seen so far, it appears the plaintiffs have a very good likelihood of succeeding in the case.

Much of the evidence comes directly from the so-called “Twitter Files,” which Elon Musk released to a select team of journalists a few months ago.

Doughty wrote in his Tuesday decision:

“If the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history. In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech.”

The Biden regime claims that it was only trying to protect all of us. Team Biden’s argument presupposes that people will die if they read words on the internet that are either mistakenly (misinformation) or purposefully (disinformation) untrue. They did it for your own good, America!

That’s why they had to censor political opinions that were critical of Joe Biden’s policies. They had to censor people with legitimate questions about the safety and efficacy of the COVID shots. They had to censor people who thought something was hinky about January 6th, and that there seemed to be an awful lot of organized feds and undercover cops in the crowd that day dressed as Trump supporters.

They had to censor people for opposing masks and lockdowns. They had to censor anyone who thought that COVID-19 came from a Chinese lab. They had to censor anyone who thought the Hunter Biden laptop story was true. They had to censor anyone who believed, based on the mountains of available evidence, that the 2020 election was stolen.

They did all that censoring because Joe Biden and the federal government just love you so much!

The judge’s preliminary ruling also states:

“The evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized as by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth.’”

Well, yeah.

That’s exactly what they did. Under the guise of protecting people from misinformation and disinformation, they set themselves—the federal government—up as the sole arbiter to truth. You don’t get to look at information and decide on issues for yourself. The Biden regime will tell you what to think.

“The 2020 election was the safest and most secure election ever!”

“The COVID vaccines are safe for pregnant women!”

“Vladimir Putin is bad!”

“Trans women are real women!”

For now, anyone working in the Biden regime through the intelligence agencies, DOJ, State and other departments, is forbidden from having any contact with the social media companies. This is a good thing, but there is one obvious caveat.

They’ll find some way to work around the judge’s order, because they are liars, and they have no sense of a need to adhere to the law. It’s not like any of them ever go to jail for their crimes. Still, it’s nice to see that there are some judges out there who are willing to stick their necks out by standing up to this criminal regime which was installed through a coup against the American people.
