The greatest threat to American national security is not Russian space lasers, contrary to the childish claims of the closeted Republican Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee this week. If Rep. Mike Turner (R-IN) wants to spot the worst threat to our homeland, it’s a bit closer than Russian space lasers.
It’s the intelligence agencies that are now operating as the Gestapo for the Democrat Party. Joe Biden just had his secret police in the FBI arrest the whistleblower who ratted him and his son Hunter out for each taking a $5 million bribe from Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
The FBI swooped in and arrested 43-year-old Alexander Smirnov at the airport in Las Vegas on Thursday. Smirnov has been a paid FBI informant since 2010.
In 2020, Smirnov blew the whistle on Joe Biden, claiming that when he was Barack Obama’s vice president, Biden fired a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Burisma in exchange for a $10 million bribe. Joe got half and Hunter Biden got the other half, according to Smirnov.
This was the evidence detailed in the infamous FD 1023 form that House Republicans finally got their hands on earlier this year. Why did they suddenly arrest Smirnov now?
That’s easy to figure out when you look at recent events in the House of Representatives. Last week, House Republicans failed to impeach Biden’s DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas by 1 vote. I never expected the GOP to find its spine and impeach Mayorkas. Not in a million years.
But then all of a sudden, this week, Rep. Steve Scalise returned to the House from cancer treatment and, to paraphrase Joe Biden when he got that Ukrainian prosecutor fired, “Son-of-a-b*tch! He got impeached!”
Mayorkas actually got impeached by House Republicans. That was bad news for Alexander Smirnov, though.
Once the White House realized that the possibility of Joe Biden getting impeached just increased dramatically, they put crazed Attorney General Merrick Garland to work immediately. They’ve got to discredit some of the $40 million-plus in bribes that Joe Biden took from America’s enemies.
The FBI arrested Smirnov on claims that he lied about Joe Biden getting the prosecutor fired. If Smirnov was lying in his testimony to the FBI, then why did Joe Biden brag on camera to the Council on Foreign Relations that he got the prosecutor fired?
“Son-of-a-b*tch! He got fired!” were Joe Biden’s exact words.
The indictment against Smirnov states, “In truth and fact, the Defendant had contact with executives from Burisma in 2017, after the end of the Obama-Biden Administration and after the then Ukrainian Prosecutor General had been fired in February 2016, in other words, when [Joe Biden] had no ability to influence U.S. policy and when the Prosecutor General was no longer in office.”
Read that carefully. Amazingly, the FBI is pretty much admitting that Joe Biden took the money. But because Smirnov only learned about it after Joe Biden left office as vice president, the information is somehow false. The FBI is now claiming that Smirnov was an anti-Biden operative who was trying to harm Old Joe ahead of the 2020 election.
That’s not what FBI Director Christopher Wray said about Smirnov when he testified before House Republicans last year about the FD 1023.
In his sworn testimony, Wray said that Alexander Smirnov was the FBI’s highest-paid informant. Not only that, but Wray informed Republicans that Smirnov was the single most credible informant on the bureau’s payroll. But a lot can change when the House GOP makes it clear that it can and (possibly) will impeach Joe Biden.
I’m still doubtful that they’ll impeach Biden, but even I have to admit that it’s now possible after the Mayorkas impeachment.
The arrest of Smirnov is the Deep State hitting the panic button to protect Joe.
Diaper Joe is now officially a cornered rat, and he will arrest anyone who threatens his power. He’s already proven this many times over the past three years. He’s arrested Donald Trump. He’s arrested close to 1,300 January 6ers by now. On Monday of this week, Biden had two dozen Democrats arrested when they showed up to protest him at his Delaware campaign headquarters. And now he’s arrested the FBI’s most credible informant for ratting him out on the $10 million bribe Hunter and him took.
It’s hard to predict what’s going to happen next, but we’re guessing it will involve more arrests. That is far more dangerous to our Republic than any Russian space lasers.
