Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was appointed to be Biden’s border chief specifically because of his far-left immigration stance – but now he is claiming that he and Biden had “nothing” to do with the border crisis…seriously.
To anybody who’s been paying attention, it’s clear that the crisis on our southern border is one which Biden and the Democrats manufactured. Mayorkas, of course, has been a key contributor to that Democrat open-border scheme.
However, being the far-left radical that he is, Mayorkas thinks the American people are stupid enough to believe him when he claims him and Joe are “definitely not” to blame.
In a recent interview with the Democrat propagandists over at NBC News, Mayorkas pushed back on efforts to impeach him for failing to do his job by saying that any allegations claiming he and Joe are “willfully” not enforcing immigration laws are “baseless.”
“You yourself have said that more than 85% of migrants caught crossing the border illegally are being released into the U.S. as they await their court dates,” NBC host Kristen Welker said, asking, “Why do you deserve to keep your job, Mr. Secretary?”
While he refused to answer the surprisingly difficult question, Mayorkas went on to point the finger at Congress.
“But do you bear responsibility for what is happening at the border, what the president himself has called a crisis?” Welker asked him again.
This time around, Mayorkas – who previously refused to even admit that we have a crisis on our southern border – admitted that it is “certainly a crisis,” but claimed that he and Biden “don’t bear responsibility” for it.
Since taking office, Joe Biden and his minion Secretary Mayorkas reversed President Trump’s remain in Mexico policy that resulted in the lowest illegal immigration numbers in a decade. They have let more illegals into the country than any other such duo in history – but sure, “it’s not their fault!”
President Biden has not only made decisions like revoking Trump-era executive orders which helped to enforce America’s immigration laws, he has also introduced multiple executive orders to make it easier for illegals to cross the border and stay in America long-term.
Mayorkas said that the real problem is a “broken system,” adding that him and Biden are doing “a tremendous amount within that broken system”
However, he claims, fundamentally it’s an issue for Congress to deal with.
“The system has not been fixed for 30 years. A bipartisan group of senators [has] now presented us with the tools and resources we need … and yet Congress killed it before even reading it,” said Mayorkas referring to the laughable and borderline TREASONOUS “border security” bill which aimed to let thousands of illegals into the country every day and created a pathway for those illegals to become American citizens (who would vote Democrat of course).
As Mayorkas was spreading these blatant lies, the so-called journalist sitting across from him just sat there and smiled, almost as if the Biden official had said exactly what the propaganda machine wanted him to say so that they would a new talking point to defend the senile old president.

The DHS Sec if full of baseless claims. Maybe, just maybe if he did his job and applied our existing laws that are on the books he could get the border situation under control. The simple answer is home land security & the white house don’t want immigration laws they want open borders. We will let you in!” Then on day one, he and his magic pen, allowed the border gates to be flung open, and appointed the useless turd Harris to find those root causes, which she still has not attempted to do.
