Democrats in Connecticut who sat silently as the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump are now furious with the mail-in ballot process, which they say is hopelessly tainted and rife with fraud. No?! You don’t say?!
Last month, bombshell video evidence was released that shows a city clerk’s employee in Bridgeport, CT stuffing a drop box with ballots in the early a.m. ahead of the Democrat mayoral primary. The incumbent mayor then “won” by 251 votes. The Connecticut legislature has now appointed a special election monitor to watch over Bridgeport’s elections through at least 2024.
After he “lost” the election last month, Democrat candidate John Gomes obtained the surveillance video footage of the drop box outside the Bridgeport clerk’s office. He released it on Facebook. The video clearly show’s a clerk’s office employee named Wanda Geter-Pataky stuffing stacks of ballots in a drop box outside. The stack of ballots was so thick that she had to break it up into smaller stacks to fit them in the drop box slot. It was 5:42 a.m.
Geter-Pataky then walks across the plaza in front of the clerk’s office before she realizes she still has two more big stacks of ballots in her bag. She walks back to the drop box and deposits two more stacks of ballots at 5:43 a.m.
She then comes back at 6:38 a.m. with another big stack of ballots, which she has to break up into smaller piles to stuff in the drop box. Nobody is at the office at this time of night other than Wanda Geter-Pataky. At 7:17 a.m., another employee arrived at the office. She gives him a stack of ballots to deposit in the drop box outside. All of this is timestamped on the video evidence.
Despite candidate John Gomes leading the race by 470 votes after all the same-day mayoral votes were counted, incumbent mayor Joe Ganim won by 251 votes after the absentee ballots were counted. At his victory speech, as Ganim looks visibly relieved that he narrowly pulled off the “win,” Wanda Geter-Pataky pats him on the shoulder and yells loudly for the cameras, “I got your back, mayor!”
Gomes posted the surveillance video on his Facebook page with the message, “This is an undeniable act of voter suppression and a huge civil rights violation. It’s time to restore lasting credibility to our city’s democracy. Once and for ALL. Enough is enough!”
Bridgeport police have now confirmed that they are investigating Geter-Pataky for possible misconduct. It turns out that she was investigated for possible misconduct and election fraud back in the 2019 mayoral election as well. However, police also say that they are investigating to see whether the surveillance video showing the fraud was illegally obtained.
Before this is all over, don’t be surprised if Democrat John Gomes is arrested for pointing out the obvious fraud that took place in the mayoral race, and Wanda Geter-Pataky is exonerated.
It seems kind of shady that the Democrat-controlled legislature has now appointed this special election monitor to watch over Bridgeport as well. They allocated $150,000 for the position. The monitor will only be monitoring Bridgeport, apparently. There are 169 town halls and clerk’s offices in Connecticut.
If they were serious about watching out for election fraud, they would have simply eliminated all the drop boxes. Or, they could have appointed election monitors to watch all of them. (Can you imagine how surprising the election results would be in Connecticut if they monitored every drop box? Republicans could end up taking control of the legislature if they had fair elections.)
It seems like appointing a special election monitor is a move to placate the voters, so they won’t take action.
“See? We’re on top of this. The legislature is securing the one drop box in Bridgeport, so citizens don’t need to take any further action.”
John Gomes has filed a lawsuit demanding that the results of the mayoral Democrat primary be vacated, and that the city holds a do-over election. All of this sounds… so familiar… for some reason…
