It’s refreshing to go through life now that the blinders are completely off, and we know that every single thing reported by the mainstream media is fake news. For example, the talking heads are desperate to pick a winner of the Democrat 2020 primary already. Never mind that we’re seven months away from the first votes being cast – they want a winner and they want him, her or xir NOW!
There are now 20 Democrats in the race for the nomination to take on Donald Trump. Don’t quote us on that figure, because it might be 21 or 22 nominees in a few minutes.
Meanwhile, the media wants you to know that at this moment, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is an unstoppable change agent force of nature juggernaut and the one true gay chosen one of oneness who will surely beat Trump. At least, for right now he is.
Please. This is all smoke, mirrors and lies.
Just last March, a rich white male named the Honorable and Esteemed Baron Robert Francis O’Rourke IV, aka “Beto,” was the media’s great white hope to beat Trump. “Beto,” for those who don’t know, is Spanish for “Bob;” it’s the nickname that Robert Francis O’Rourke gave to himself to pretend that he’s a fake Hispanic who feels the pain of illegal aliens.
It was a helpful form of cultural appropriation that rich white guy “Beto” rode all the way the United States Congress. He’s the Mexican version of Pocahontas Warren! Beto was the “media sensation” back in March.
Beto rides a skateboard, looks sort of like a hillbilly relative of the Kennedys and even fled the scene of a drunk-driving accident that he caused. He was a computer hacker and he smoked a loooooot of weed when he was a teenager and in college. Beto was the candidate who would finally be able to appeal to the hip, 18-to-28 crowd of college potheads enough to get them to actually vote on an election day!
Beto was so awesome and was such a shoo-in for the nomination that Vanity Fair jumped the gun and gave him the big airbrushed cover photo, several months earlier than prior recipients like Al Gore and B. Hussein Obama.
Of course, this was all a lie. Beto never had a chance. Despite the media’s slobbering love affair and voluminous puff pieces about him, Beto’s campaign is now bleeding staffers. Beto is done, and the media that lavished him with a tongue bath just a couple of months ago has now kicked him to the curb. They have a new love: Mayor Pete. And their love for Mayor Pete is just as fake and shallow as their love for Beto was.
How do we know this? Because it’s still remarkably early in the process, for one thing. Donald Trump walked down the escalator at Trump Tower in June of 2015, before he completely ran away with the 2016 nomination. Some new candidate could still enter the race within the next two months and mop the floor with the rest of the Democrats.
Sound crazy? Terry McAuliffe just threw himself on his sword and announced that he’s not running in 2020. The longtime Clinton enforcer has been considered a possible front-runner, if he should decide to enter the race.
Why would McAuliffe suddenly drop out? Does he know someone else who still, perhaps, has designs on the 2020 election – and is he simply staying out of her way, at her request?
An even better question for the moment, is: Why is the media pulling this fake news stunt by declaring Beto and then Mayor Pete as the inevitable victor?
That’s simple, and it all has to do with internal polling from both Democrats and Republicans. All the numbers are telling the insiders two things. First, Bernie Sanders is running away with the nomination ahead of all other current candidates (and he’s neck-and-neck with Joe “No Chance in Hell” Biden).
Second, despite all of Bernie’s curb appeal to the base of the woke Democrats, mainstream Americans are not down with turning the USA into Venezuela and having to eat all the zoo animals to survive in a socialist utopia. Out of all the Democrat contenders, Bernie gets squashed like a bug the worst in a head-to-head matchup against Trump.
The media is trying to take Bernie’s momentum away, because they know he’ll lose in an embarrassing landslide against Trump. That’s why we get glowing reports on the enthusiasm for “Beto” and “Mayor Pete.”
Look at the size of their rallies and look at all of Trump’s rallies. That’s where the enthusiasm really is. The media knows this too, which is why they’re lying to us about Beto and Mayor Pete.
