The state of New York continues to make it clear that they are COMPLETLEY corrupt beyond reproach – threatening to SEIZE President Donald Trump’s assets if he doesn’t “pay up” to cover their sham of a $354 million fine.
Trump was fined $354.8 million plus approximately $100 million in pre-judgment interest last week after far-left activist Judge Arthur Engoron weaponized his position against the top Republican candidate to unjustly rule that Trump had committed “fraud.”
Despite the ruling being quite possibly the most blatant politically motivated attack we’ve seen in our history, Trump is now on the hook for nearly half a billion dollars and the crooked Democrats running the state of New York intend to get every last penny.
New York Attorney General Letitia James is going around bragging that if Trump doesn’t pay up, she will have the state seize his assets.
During a recent interview with ABC News she said, “If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek judgment enforcement mechanisms in court, and we will ask the judge to seize his assets.”
It’s worth noting that AG James literally ran for office on a platform of GOING AFTER TRUMP – and she’s breaking every legal precedent to get that done.
In the interview James went on to claim that Trump committed “massive fraud” despite having paid back every penny of the loans he took out from the banks who were the apparent “victims” of his “fraud.”
The deranged liberal AG carried on by admitting that she stares at one of Trump’s buildings every day and dreams about bleeding him dry.
“We are prepared to make sure that the judgment is paid to New Yorkers, and yes, I look at 40 Wall Street (Trump’s building) each and every day,”
As businesses of all sizes are looking to the Trump ruling and deciding it’s no longer safe for people to do business in the state of New York, James ignorantly claimed that “Wall street is doing just fine.”
Trump has said he has every intention of appealing the radical judge’s ruling, however, he is being forced to pay the ENTIRE fine BEFORE he can even bother appealing, which is exactly why Engoron imposed such a high fine.
The judge hoped that by demanding an astronomical figure he would FORCE Trump to either declare bankruptcy or sell off assets in order to pay the fine, even if he ultimately wins the appeal.
Democrats in the state are throwing everything they have at Trump and it still may not be enough to deliver Joe Biden a victory in 2024.
Old Joe is polling UNDER 50 percent in a state that has been controlled by Democrats for quite some time and their politically motivated attacks like the massive fine indicate they are as desperate as they’ve ever been.
