At a war memorial in Pennsylvania, the Biden campaign tried a publicity stunt this week to show how Joe’s deep family ties to the military make him the right choice to lead America. It backfired spectacularly when they let Joe off his leash.
Joe Biden has always had several things that are very, very wrong with him, which predate his dementia. There’s the kid-touching for one thing, but Biden is also a rare form of pathological liar. He can never tell a true story. In describing how his uncle died in World War II, Biden suddenly spun the story into a crazy tale about how his uncle was eaten by cannibals!
Joe Biden’s uncle was 2nd Lieutenant Ambrose J. “Bosey” Finnegan. He was a pilot in the Pacific during World War II. According to official military reports, Finnegan’s plane experienced engine failure off the coast of Papua New Guinea and was forced to crash-land in the ocean. Three of the crew members died in the crash and a fourth was rescued by a passing ship. That’s the official story. Joe Biden was one year old at the time.
Ambrose Finnegan’s name is inscribed on the World War II memorial in Scranton, PA. Which is why the Biden campaign chose to attempt this publicity stunt there. By pointing out that Joe Biden had a relative who legitimately died as a hero in the service of our country, the campaign hopes that the public will forget about Joe’s deep and abiding hatred of the US military and our troops.

The campaign event went straight off the rails as soon as Joe Biden started talking about his uncle, however. Instead of simply honoring his uncle’s heroic sacrifice, Joe Biden just had to dial it up to 11. He told reporters that his uncle somehow made it to land in Papua New Guinea—and that he met a grisly end after being eaten by cannibals.
This was a total lie, according to the military and to the White House which later had to correct Biden’s statement. Academics and professors in Papua New Guinea are now blasting Joe Biden for his false and racist statements.
Michael Kabuni, a political science lecturer at the University of Papua New Guinea, says that while some tribes on the island did engage in cannibalism in very specific contexts, they “wouldn’t just eat any white men that fell from the sky.”
“Taking it out of context and implying that your [uncle] jumps out of the plane and somehow we think it’s a good meal is unacceptable,” added Kabuni.
Other local academics say that Biden’s lies were “very offensive.” Some state that the cannibalism tall tale is “unsubstantiated and poorly judged.”

“My uncle Bosey, he was Army Air Corps before the Air Force came along. He flew those single-engine planes as reconnaissance over war zones and he got shot down in New Guinea and they never found the body because there used to be a lot of cannibals – for real – in that part of New Guinea.”
They never found the body because there were lots of cannibals there. The White House is trying to downplay this, but Biden’s off-the-cuff accusations of cannibalism have actually harmed US relations with the island nation. The US has been trying to improve its relationship with Papua New Guinea for the past few years, and Biden just flushed all those efforts down the toilet with his pathological lies. Why should they want closer relations with us now, after the guy in the White House just insulted them all?
It’s well established that politicians have a tendency to stretch the truth, but Joe Biden is a real piece of work. He could have just told the truth. That would have honored his uncle and would have come across as more genuine. But Joe Biden always has to lie. He can’t help himself. How many different ways has his son Beau died by now? Biden has told something like 17 different versions of the story to different audiences.
Americans deserve to have honest leaders who consider telling the truth to be a virtue. That’s not Joe Biden and it never has been.
