The Media Has Assigned Mike Pence to the Jeb! Role in 2024

Please clap for Mike Pence. He’s a big boy now and thinks he’s running for president in 2024. The media certainly hopes he is. They’re hoping to pin a big ribbon around Pence’s neck and declare him the Mitt Romney- or John McCain-style “maverick” savior of the Republican Party. And that’s exactly what Mike Pence would be if he somehow became the GOP’s nominee for president in two years: A big fat, whiny loser. You can’t turn on the TV these days without hearing about Mike Pence and his little treason-weasel lawyers and aides smearing Donald Trump, faithful Trump supporters, and the MAGA movement. His embarrassing defeat is going to be delicious when it happens.

There have been so many Pence dirty tricks and subterfuges in the past week that it’s difficult to choose where to start. Let’s look at Arizona first.

Pence has endorsed the establishment Bush Republican candidate Karin Taylor Robson in the GOP primary race for Governor of Arizona. President Trump has endorsed the Kari Lake, who is leading in the polls by an average of 10 points ahead of next week’s primary election.

Pence and Trump had dueling rallies for their chosen Arizona candidates a couple of days ago. Pence jabbed at Kari Lake by saying she was “focused on the past.” Meaning that Lake is focused on the 2020 election that you helped the Democrats steal from America, right, Mike Pence?

The former vice president also claimed that Kari Lake was a Hillary Clinton supporter in 2016. When a reporter asked her about it, Kari Lake called out Mike Pence’s subterfuge and lie:

“Never. That woman [Crooked Hillary] is disgusting and frankly she should be behind bars.”

Atta girl! And that’s why Kari Lake is so far ahead in the polls.

By the way, how did the dueling Trump/Kari Lake versus Pence/Karin Taylor Robson rallies go? About like expected. Pence and Robson drew a crowd of 350 people. That’s bigger than a Joe Biden rally, but pretty flaccid when compared to a certain someone else’s rally. There were so few voters who showed up for Pence and Robson that you really could count them. But at the Trump/Kari Lake rally, it was a typical Trump red-state rally. Thousands upon thousands of Trump MAGA supporters showed up and it was amazing.

Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff Marc Short put in an appearance on CNN this week, where he was treated with kid gloves like an old friend. (Pro Tip: If you’re a “Republican” and CNN loves you, you have problems.) Marc Short was asked to weigh in on Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and the potential impact that he’s going to have on 2022 and 2024.

Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff replied that Gaetz – a MAGA champion if there ever was one – would probably “be behind bars for child sex trafficking before 2024,” so he wouldn’t be a factor. This was such a nasty, slanderous and defamatory comment that I felt like I was watching a Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffer. Not to mention that it’s a flat-out lie. The Gaetz “child sex trafficking” conspiracy theory has been so thoroughly debunked that it hardly bears debunking it again.

But Marc Short is a flaming Trump basher, so CNN let him have plenty of airtime. Short, for those who don’t remember, was bashing Donald Trump when he worked at the White House and quit his post to go work for Mike Pence.

Speaking of Mike Pence staffers, have you seen the Liz Cheney Committee’s January 6 hearings lately? Congressman Adam Kinzinger (RINO-OH) is of course serving on the committee against his own party leadership’s wishes. He’s been bashing Trump and hurling crazy conspiracy theories about him all summer.

Guess who Adam Kinzinger is married to? Go ahead and do a Google search on his wife, and her career history in Washington, DC. We’ll wait.

Yep. Adam Kinzinger is married to a former Mike Pence staffer, for anyone who wondered if that committee could get any more rigged against President Trump.

So, Pence and his little minions are everywhere right now. The fact that they’re spending so much time on TV tells you that at least for now, the media has chosen Mike Pence to be the Jeb! stand-in for 2024. Please clap!
