The Media is Covering for Joe Biden

There is a massive dark cloud of media and Democrat crazy déjà vu descending on Washington, DC. We’ve been there and done that with the Russian collusion charges and investigations that exposed how much the liberal media does not care about the truth and only want to get Trump out of office.

Now, with yet another private leak of a conversation between our head of state and a foreign leader, it is starting up again. A whistleblower with no firsthand knowledge of the actual conversation complained that the President pressured the Ukrainian leader to dig up dirt on Joe Biden.

But the firestorm in the media and the insincere Democrat whining are really smokescreens. The media are disparate to protect presidential contender Joe Biden from the limelight of his son’s business dealings in Ukraine. Joe’s son, Hunter, is the equivalent of a trust-fund child who has cashed in on his dad’s high office in several ways:

* In December of 2013, Hunter hitched a ride with his dad on Air Force 2 on a diplomatic visit to China. Ten days later, Hunter Biden closed a billion-dollar deal with the Chinese government, a principal business and political rival of the United States. This was a deal that received scant news coverage.

* In 2014, Hunter, with absolutely no professional qualifications or background in the energy industry, obtained a seat on a Ukrainian energy development country. Because his last name was Biden, he received a whopping $83,000 per month for showing up.

The Ukrainian company, Burisma, was at the time sending payments of more than $3 million to Hunter Biden’s company during a 14-month period when Vice President Biden served as Obama’s point man on Ukraine policy. The company was under investigation for corruption and Joe Biden is on tape bragging that he pressured the Ukrainian government to suspend an investigation of Burisma.

His leverage? Joe threatened to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees if they didn’t fire the investigator.

So, while the media would be on Donald Trump, Jr. like white on rice if he did anything remotely similar to Biden, Jr., they seemed to have displayed a surprising lack of curiosity. They ignored a sitting vice president’s son striking three major and financially lucrative deals while his father was steering foreign policy with those same countries.

The latest brouhaha is that the Trump administration actually withheld aid to the Ukraine during the time when President Trump was purportedly pressuring the Ukrainians to investigate Hunter. However, it’s just a nothing more than the President of the United States trying to prevent throwing good money after bad to a country riddled with corruption.

It seems that whenever President Trump puts his country first, like Barack Obama on an American apology tour, the Democrats just don’t get it.

Nevertheless, Democrats are once again optimistic that this time they really, really have something on a president who has consistently made chumps out of them and their lazy pack of journalist jackals. Like a bunch of prim church ladies, a group of “moderate” Democrat lawmakers are “expressing concern” that somehow our Democracy is being threatened by pressuring a foreign leader to clean up his act. Again, in their blind hatred of President Trump they don’t appear to realize that Democrats in 31 swing districts who advocate impeachment could be voted out of office in 2020.

How is Joe Biden holding up? When asked whether he ever discussed the Ukraine energy company deal with Hunter, Joe said, “No, I didn’t.” Actually, beside the fact that the response didn’t ring true, his son is on the record saying that it was true. It seems Joe warned Hunter, “I hope you know what you’re doing.”

Meanwhile, President Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has promised a ton more evidence on the father and his drug-challenged son Hunter. (Hunter was booted out of the Navy after testing positive for cocaine.)

Said Rudy in a recent Fox News interview, “Biden was asked about it (the China connection) for the first time on Saturday. Biden was asked about it on Sunday. You start asking Biden, he’s going to fall apart.”

And it’s not over. Said Giuliani, “There’s a lot more evidence I’m going to put out. I put one out today: money laundering. I got a bigger one for tomorrow. I got a bigger one for the day after.”

Meanwhile, Biden’s Democrat rivals have so far remained silent on Biden’s problems—other than to say that the President really needs to be impeached.

The reason for that silence is obvious: When your rival is destroying himself through his own words and actions. Get out of the way and let him dig his own grave.

Pocahontas Warren is seeing favorable smoke signals and is doing a happy dance.
