Andrew Breitbart used to have a standard that he used to encourage budding journalists with. He’d tell them to never be afraid to walk toward the fire. It’s great advice, but almost no journalist in America lives up to that standard.
James O’Keefe is one. Another is Tucker Carlson on Fox News, and is he ever living up to that this week? The mainstream media and Democrats in Congress are howling mad at Carlson for releasing the January 6th footage that’s been hidden from the public for two years.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy actually made good on his promise to release the footage, although in these initial stages, only Tucker Carlson Tonight has exclusive access to it. For doing that, an ethics complaint has already been filed against McCarthy. Democrats are accusing McCarthy of violating the First Amendment, because he gave exclusive access to Carlson.
The media reports about Carlson’s initial report on Monday night are furious. They want to hang him.
But what Carlson is reporting on is vitally important. If you haven’t seen his first report (there’s much more to come this week), then here are the key takeaways to know about.
First, the QAnon Shaman, otherwise known as Jacob Chansley, is innocent and deserves to be let out of prison immediately. He did not lead a “violent insurrection” as Democrats and their media mouthpieces have been saying for two years.
Chansley was so non-violent in the never-before-seen footage that nine police officers came within touching distance of him, and they never tried to stop him or slow him down as he was LARPing around in the Capitol in a funny costume.
Capitol Police acted like they were Chansley’s personal tour guides as they walked him around inside the building. They tried helping him unlock doors in the building and were seen on film talking with him about each room he wandered into.
If he had actually committed some sort of crime – any crime – that was worth the four-year prison sentence that he’s now serving, why wasn’t he arrested on the spot?
Second, Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick is seen on footage walking around, even after Democrats claimed he had been beaten to death by Trump supporters with a fire extinguisher. It was always a total lie that Trump supporters had killed Sicknick, who was himself a Trump supporter. He tragically died from a stroke the day after January 6th, possibly as a result of being doused with tear gas by his own fellow officers.
“Whatever happened to Brian Sicknick was very obviously not the result of violence he suffered at the entrance to the Capitol. This tape overturns the single most powerful and politically useful lie the Democrats have told us about January 6,” reported Carlson.
Third, the fake January 6 Liz Cheney Committee lied to the American people. About everything. They literally edited a tape of Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to make it appear like he was frantically trying to escape the “attackers.” In the original and unedited footage that Carlson aired, Hawley is in a stream of people including police officers. The cops were moving Senators and staffers to a secure location.
By altering the tape to make the crowd chuckle about Senator Hawley in their fake hearings, and implying that he was running away in terror from Trump supporters, every member of that fake committee should be removed from Congress. What a bunch of A-holes!
To sit there and lie to the American people in such brazen fashion is unconscionable. They saw the original tape that Tucker Carlson’s team found in the 41,000 hours of footage, and they edited it to lie to the public.
Fourth, “patriotic whistleblower” Ray Epps, who is most likely a fed, perjured himself before the January 6 Committee. Epps told the committee that he had left the Capitol by a certain time, but Carlson’s team found Epps still on the scene half an hour later.
The release of the footage has caused a shockwave. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had a fit on the Senate floor Tuesday morning. He accused Speaker McCarthy of treason, a death penalty offense, for releasing the footage to Tucker. And he called on Fox News to censor Tucker Carlson and not allow him to show any more of the narrative-busting footage.

The scenes of “Shaman” being led around in the Capitol, Brian Sicknick walking around later and the tour of the office building were new to me, but the others have been around for a couple of years. Also need to show the CP officer giving instructions to the tourists (or “insurrectionists”). Release the footage of the Capitol police beating up people in the tunnels and beating one protester to death after refusing to get her medical help. Yes, 5 people died that day, all of them Trump supporters, not police officers. Pelosi set up the Capitol Police for failure by refusing Trump’s offer of the National Guard and by not giving them all the info about Antifa’s and FBI’s part in inciting violence. Tucker should show Antifa’s website with the instructions to dress in MAGA outfits and hats and then change later into their traditional black. Also show how, when Antifa was breaking windows, protesters tried to stop them.
And the assassination of Ashli Babbitt. Someone goes up behind her outside and shouts out “Someone is going to get shot today!” obviously identifying her as the victim. Later on, upstairs, the crowd on the stairs separates to let a lone cameraman in. Then that crowd leaves and a new crows comes in. Babbitt knew then what was happening and tried to call for help (aloud and on phone?) Then the police officers in front of her separate, giving Byrd a clear view, and he shoots. All on the tapes.
Are Murdoch and Ryan part of the Democrat conspiracy? Remember, what they’re trying to distract from is the coup d’état which took place INSIDE the Capitol. Like Pelosi said, the enemy is within the Capitol. Show the picture of Mike Pence and the Democrats smiling and high-fiving, and Pence receiving gifts from them AFTER Pence certified the fraudulent electoral college votes contrary to law and sealed the coup.
