Now that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have botched the Afghanistan exit, a spirit of bipartisan America Last stupidity has gripped Washington, DC. “Oh my gosh! We have to accept a gajillion refugees from Afghanistan immediately!” they cry out in unison.
Republicans and Democrats alike in Congress have reflexively decided that you Americans somehow have a duty to move a bunch of people from Afghanistan in next door to you. You want that, right? You must, since all the politicians agree that you do.
As a public service to everyone, we felt the need to let everyone know what their new Afghan neighbors are like. Prepare to be culturally enriched.
The US Army has announced that they’ll be immediately bringing in 22,000-plus “refugees” from Afghanistan and housing them temporarily on military bases. Until they can move them to your neighborhood with a Section-8 voucher, food stamps, Obamacare, Obamaphones and some other taxpayer-provided goodies.
Some 80,000 Afghans have already asked for green cards and permanent residency in the US. Mark my words: We will all pine for the days when the numbers were that low.
One of the first things you may not have noticed is all those photos of the interior of a C-17 as it flew out of Afghanistan the other day. It was packed to the gills with more than 600 Afghans crammed into it. I counted three women on the entire plane. So, the Afghans don’t appear to be real big on that whole “women and children” first ethic that Western Civilization was built upon. That’s just an anecdotal observation. Here are some hard numbers.
Pew Research has done some of the most comprehensive polling of Muslim nations that we’ve ever had. A few years ago, they polled all of the Islamic republics around the world, including American-controlled Afghanistan, to determine religious and cultural beliefs. Here is what they found out about Afghanistan.
One of the key questions they asked people was whether they support Sharia law as the “law of the land.” That’s an important question, because opposition to living under Sharia law is a definite sign of “moderation.” We’ve been told since George W. Bush was in office that most Muslims are, in fact, moderates, and that only the tiny handful that support Sharia law and therefore political and social terrorism are not moderates.
In Afghanistan, 99% of respondents told Pew Research that they favor Sharia law. This seems important, because as we’ve learned since passage of the 1965 Immigration Act in America, refugees and immigrants take several generations before they even consider abandoning the cultural and religious beliefs of their homelands. That’s why immigrants from Latin America tend to favor communism and immigrants from the Middle East and Africa tend to behave like Ilhan Omar.
If 99% of Afghans support Sharia law (as they do), they’re going to vote and behave as if that’s how we should be living. 81% of surveyed Afghans support chopping the hands off of thieves and publicly whipping robbers. 85% of Afghans believe that women caught committing adultery should be buried in the sand to their waists and then stoned to death. And 79% of Afghans support the public execution of anyone who converts from Islam to another religion.
Keep in mind that these polling numbers were taken while Barack Obama was in the White House, and Afghanistan had been under US and NATO control for more than a decade (Pew’s numbers were from 2013). They had gender studies degrees at the universities in Afghanistan. They even had a Starbucks in Kabul!
And yet clear, wide majorities of Afghans were still saying they preferred Sharia law to the “democracy” that America had imposed on them. Afghanistan has a population of close to 40 million people, but only 1.6 million turned out for their last presidential election. They don’t believe in democracy, and they don’t want democracy. The vast majority of Afghans actually support the style of government that the Taliban are offering, which is why it was always a foregone conclusion that the Taliban would swoop back into power as soon as we left. (If they didn’t do it by force, they would have done it at the ballot box – which is exactly what happened in Iraq’s elections.)
Out of all the backwards countries in the world that aren’t quite ready for modernization, Afghanistan is the most backwards of them all. You might want to consider buying new outfits for your daughters, just in case too many Afghans get moved into your neighborhood. Tell your daughters to keep their hair, faces and ankles covered up – otherwise they’re fair game for the refugees Joe Biden will be moving in next door to you.
Just what we need! Between the million coming over the (open) southern border and half of Afghanistan, there might be room for a few Americans when it’s over. Probably won’t still be a country we want to live in though!

And it’s not just Americans. it’s people from the UK, Australia, France and other countries that were there thinking they were working with us. The entire world is in danger because of Biden.

When Biden stupidly decided to pull our troops out of Afghanistan he left it wide open to be taken over by the worst terrorists in the world and sure enough It happened quickly. It is interesting that some Trump/Republican-supporting news outlets are complaining about how horrible it was to leave so many Afghans behind, then in the same issues, they complain about the thousands of former embassy-helping Afghans who will be given the fast-track to citizenship. You can’t have it both ways. With withdrawal, which the majority of American citizens and military vets requested in surveys done earlier this year, the native supporters of our troops always get a chance at immigration. We saw this with the Vietnamese. We shouldn’t start wars if we are resistant to the idea that some people for whom we are fighting will ultimately seek citizenship after the war is over.
You’re right about one thing, we shouldn’t start wars. Yes many of us wanted to get out and President Trumps plan would have done it in such a way that the terrorists could not have taken over but biden through his unfounded hatred of President Trump, killed his plan and that is why we are in this mess now.
If he would make an effort to very those people we would be more likely to accept them here but he did not, so we have no idea how many terrorists he is placing in our states, our city’s, towns and communities! My other thought on this situation is why are we bringing these refugees and not our Americans first???? This is the issue that we must focus on – we demand our Americans be brought home first! Totally agree. Every American citizen needs to write, call or email their congress people and let them know we want impeachment for the top three: Biden, Harris and Pelosi. I don’t know who takes over after Pelosi but surely they must be better than what we have. Those three have put every American in jeopardy and a huge strain on an already out of control budget. We the people must take back our country and the only way I know to do that in a peaceful manner is to make sure every Senator, every representative, every assembly person, every person in government needs to know the American people want elected officials that they work for us not the other way around. The Texas government that left for six weeks should all be fined for not doing their jobs because they didn’t agree with the governor. They work for us, the people of the United States. Well, even if Trump had followed through with his pledge to withdraw from Afghanistan by May 2021, we would still be stuck with Afghan refugees coming here who had supported our troops or embassy. That is the nature of fighting foreign wars. When the Republicans entered the U.S. into the Afghanistan War, they must have known that this would lead to later absorption of the U.S.-helping Afghans into the U.S., but they probably never expected the strong Republican resistance we are seeing to such immigrant absorption. And, so, rather than accept the responsibility for any of this, they are blaming everything on the Democrats, who never supported a ‘war’ with Afghanistan to begin with!
