Did you read the whistleblower complaint? You should. It’s always good to be properly informed. Reading it will show you that this Ukraine scandal is patently ridiculous. It will also help you understand the depths of transparency coming from the Trump Administration.
Most importantly, you need to see the specific language in the report. It reads a lot like a Rachel Maddow segment. There is no evidence of wrongdoing, just a lot of assumptions about President Trump’s motivations. Now, we know why the complaint is so biased.
Everyone seems to be giving the whistleblower a lot of credit, and it isn’t just mainstream media. Prominent Republicans are taking the report seriously (or at least more seriously than they probably should). It might be born of an effort to be as fair and neutral as possible, but it’s a mistake. Credit given to the whistleblower comes from forgetting an important fact. This complaint was deemed unreliable from the start.
To begin with, the complaint was rejected. It didn’t contain any first-hand accounts. Under the rules, it couldn’t be submitted as a whistleblower complaint. Those rules were changed specifically to push this one complaint through.
The second problem is even more overlooked. Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson was the one who received the report. He dismissed it because of obvious political bias. In his words, it contained “indicia of an arguable political bias . . . in favor of a rival political candidate.”
It turns out that Atkinson knew more than he originally specified. It’s possible that he had good reasons not to elaborate. Most likely, he was trying to protect the identity of the whistleblower, since that’s part of the protocol. Regardless, this whole thing has gained public attention, and journalists (real journalists, not the SJWs at places like the New York Times) have unraveled some important truths.
The most important revelation regarding the whistleblower came from the Washington Examiner. They spoke with members of the intelligence community. Under anonymity, those members explained something about this whistleblower. They explained that the person who crafted the complaint worked directly for Joe Biden.
You think that’s bad? That’s cute. This gets worse. We now know that the whistleblower was an intelligence contact for Biden and his work in Ukraine. The person who accused President Trump of trying to sway an election was a member of the Biden team that actually tried to use Ukraine to influence U.S. politics.
This isn’t a minor bias. The whistleblower is guilty of the crimes he tried to pin on President Trump. Saying he’s “just a registered Democrat” with some anti-Trump bias doesn’t go accurately portray this man/woman.
This whole Ukraine scandal is a hit piece. We all knew that, but we once again have the proof. This really is another cycle of Russia gate, and we can assume that when this blows over, Democrats will fabricate new crimes to level at the President.
As angering as the whole thing is, remember the silver lining. They have to do this because they’re desperate. They very much fear a fair election against Donald Trump, and even more, they fear how much power they’ll lose if he has another term.
